Done all the cleaning I'm going to now - only thing I missed off was clean the windows but I can do that another week. The shower screen looks so much better; that Cillit Bang is great stuff.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Hi
Daily stuff done
Shopping done
Wm x 2 done
Love reading about the elves, there was last year a whole thread on one of the boards over what the elves had been up to, it seem to involve loads of 'naughty things' unrolling toilet rolls, messing stuff up, and such like.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Just updating my list:
[STRIKE]- Check finances
- Type up and email notes[/STRIKE]
- Deal with German email - was waiting for another related email which has just arrived so I'll do the German reply next
- Email completed forms once I've got the last bit of info I need - still waiting
[STRIKE]- Prepare for this evening's course
- Move about 1/3 of a cubic metre of soil that has been cluttering the front garden for over a year - the bag is too heavy to lift in one go, so it will have to be shovelled into trugs (need OH to help)
- OH to move a smaller bag of gravel (= railway ballast) into the shed[/STRIKE]
- Tidy[STRIKE] front garden, back lawn,[/STRIKE] decking and yard (perhaps I can persuade OH to do some of this) - OH :A is currently finishing the job with the leaf vac.
- Tidy the utility - part done; need to clean shoes and do ironing (tomorrow)
[STRIKE]- Find a few more decorations to add to the Christmas wreath and hang it on the front door[/STRIKE]
- Wrap up a parcel for my SiL
- Finish writing family and friends' cards; add letters to some and a cheque and gift envelopes to one
- Sort out bags of baby clothes from DS2 and take some to CS - pack the rest away in the airing cupboard, to be sold next year
- Tidy the study bedroom
- Wrap some presents
- Go to my course this evening

Drafted a letter to J but am so scared to give it to him because obviously it's going to make really hard reading and it was so hard for me to put into words how I feel. I've been 100% honest including about leaving. Now I feel sick and shaky and got over 24 hours to go yet.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Mumof2 I have no experience of this kind of thing but I firmly believe in trusting your instincts and doing what you feel is right for you. Quite often we know in our hearts what is the right course of action but we aren't brave enough to see it through. Good luck.
Feeling a bit bleugh and a sore throat is developing. DS2 is full of cold and woke me up several times during the night. Now do I go to my gym class tonight or not? Sweat it out or curl up on the sofa and rest?
House smelt a bit eau-de-doggie when I came home so I threw all his blankets and the sofa throw in the wash. Potato bake made for tea, dog walked, hoovered right through and a bit of tidying here and there. Just LR to finish.
Have closed the door on the bathroom which now resembles a building site.
Five minutes for a brew then I will do a bit more.0 -
Mumof2 I agree with YL; trust your instinct. You know you can't just keep on putting up with rubbish; something has to give. Good that your parents are being supportive.
YL I'm very familiar with eau-de-doggie; luckily, I don't mind it.:D
Dotty is here; she's only 18 months old, and she's very sweet. We've been for walkies, and she already made some doggie friends. I suspect Flying will very much be on the back burner while she's here, as she has a lot of energy being so young. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Hugs mumof2 how is he likely to react? Hope things work out for you xxx
Elf door went un-noticed. Tonight they have donned our scouting neckers and woggles, and have made a campfire (yellow tissue paper and matchmaker chocolate sticks
) and are toasting marshmallows. Lol.
I'm a bit *meh* about work. I'm the one who's job is getting axed, yet all the boys took themselves offline to fill in profile forms all afternoon. Muggins here will have to do that in her own time because she had real, actual work to do !!!!!!. Two board papers to send out this afternoon and 45min before the end of my shift, I get sent a request for some work tomorrow. I told the boss no, he can give it to one of the boys- they clearly haven't got enough to do
/rant
Tired now so having a peaceful evening with my lists and deciding what to do on my unpaid day off tomorrow
Shall we do a bedroom?Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0
