Evening everyone.
Today I have managed to clear several more emails and some complicated paperwork, do WMx2, write the letter to go in with some of our Christmas cards, declutter 1 lb at SW and pick up another click and collect order - it took me longer to find a parking space at Marry H€ll than to actually collect the package from the store. Hopefully that's the last of the presents for the grandchildren. Everyone else is getting money or tokens!
Now I need to sit and sign cards, then DH can add his X tomorrow.
Those elves are having fun in your house, Bossy0 -
Sorry that was me asking dusty, I was on a fishing trip but using the wrong bait I'm afraid. So just ignore me.
Bossy your elves look so cute, they need to be cuddled.
Film was a subtitled documentary about corrupt Sardinian horse racing ...yawn. And pub changed landlord over three years ago so our friend is long gone, still sold a nice pint it's a real ale pub now.

I call mine an aga but actually it is a Stanley, which is a cheaper Irish range. Same sort of thing. Mine is gas, with 2 ovens and it does the central heating and hot water.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Just got back from flower club. Fantastic demonstrator, he did some lovely arrangements so I'm all inspired. Didn't win any in the raffle - fortunate really as they were huge. Had nice meal beforehand with 2 friends and Mr N, slow cooker made a magnificent beef and tomato casserole. Enough left for tomorrow as I went a bit overboard with rice, plus my other friend was ill so didn't come.
Spent ages arguing with a web site which my browsers said wasn't safe; I've been using the blithering thing for years.
Other than that, did zumba this morning, saw a student, picked up a couple of things from Mr T on the way home (all hair stuff as I've gone mad and bought a clip-on pony tail/up-do to try and pad out my thin locks. It's pretty hard to attach and not look like an alien creature, don't know if I will get the hang of it when we go away this w/e).
Bit of paperwork done.
Early night for me I think.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Love it bossy! Going to have to steal that one! We did something similar with eggs last year. Obviously not minions!
Well, the doorbell went about 6.30 and the boys started running around shouting "it's snowflake! It's snowflake!" I opened the door and there was the box with snowflake, two reward charts, a letter from Santa, his passport and some gold coins for his keep! They were so excited. I thought as ds1 is now 7 the shine might be disappearing but he is so excited and keeps wondering what he will be doing tonight! They were discussing who was taking him in for show and tell first. I'm with you bossy! Not sure how I could stop them touching him! They love him and he almost becomes their 'baby' for the month. They take him everywhere!
Anyway, quite a sensible one to start us off. I raided the Christmas dec boxes (the boxes are down but decs going up at the weekend!) so snowflake and his Christmas pals have a stack of Christmas books that they are reading. I have a picture but can't work out how to attach it. I think I need something like photo bucket?
Anyway not a lot of flying done but I did go through all the Christmas boxes. I bought some bits in the sales last year for our elf antics and knew they were mingled in with the decs so wanted to get all the bits out before the kids raided he boxes and saw them!
I have tidied the kitchen again and sorted the washing but that's about it.

Sorry I've not caught up with the thread, so hugs, spoons, sticks, vibes and wishes to all.
I've spent the day either doing accounts or paid work until 10pm when DD then produced her essay for me to read through. To say I'm mentally worn out would be an understatement. I need to go to bed but the WM is on a cleaning cycle and I didn't realise it would still be going this late. Very little flying achieved today.
