    Afternoon all,

I am not at work today as had to go into hospital for a monitoring check up. Baby fine so was home by lunchtime and told to take it easy. Just had a nap and then going to do a little pottering but nothing too strenuous. Writing christmas cards sounds like a good choice!

Pigpen- hope you are feeling better soon.
CY- good news that you are talking about your phased return to work- that sounds really positive
Bossy moo- please share your elf antics. My boys have one every year and I have been really unorganised this year so not really thought about it yet. They went looking for him this morning but he hadn't arrived! They were a little disappointed and think he may being visiting another family this year!. I think he may arrive after OH returns from work. Choc coins purchased today and I just need to make some reward charts to put in the box with him!

    Anyway, flying.....
This is my list but most will carry over tomorrow!

    Monday: Kosy Kitchen
    Wudupa

I'm so sorry (((HUG))) Been there, done that - thankfully not with Mr LW - but I do know the awful pain and uncertainty.

Piggers Cold Begone vibes. It sounds vile!

Gotta go - I need to scare up a b'day card for Mr LW before Saturday. I have the software, just need ideas now.

    Thanks LW x

Didn't get any knitting done as been chatting to old boss and yes, can have work back so at least I'll be earning something again. All the time I was on the phone Whiz had his lovely little warm head resting on my arm; so peaceful and content, love him.

Been pottering this afternoon and spent a lovely half an hour with my crafting stuff making reward charts for the boys. Really chuffed with them. I normally just buy one but a) I ran out of time and b) this has used some crafting bits up. They look so much nicer as well!

Anyway, going to pick the boys up so just updating the list!

Hugs along with healing and coping vibes to all who need them sorry been on today.
It was deccy day at school this morning so I volunteered for that then my lovely neighbour who I job share with was taken ill do I got asked to stay the afternoon on pay. Plus all day tomorrow as extra covering for her. Got free tix for cinema tonight, hoping it will be better than last weeks film, plan is to park other side of the city and yomp across town as an old school friend of Dh used to be landlord at a pub there, we haven't seen him for years but we're talking about him last week so we're hoping to op in and see if he's still there.
Got cross stitch finished at need to sew it together and find some fabric to line it as I'm not leaving it ragged inside.

Lovely crafting neighbour popped over last night with the first Crimbo bauble I ordered for DGS last night it is gorgeous. Her dd makes them, clear bauble with glitter inside and name on in Disney writing it is just so cute. I may have to order them for all the DDs as well.

I must go and feed the DSs and at least run the dyson up the stairs.

    Btw
Who is it on here who as an aga please?

I think Dusty has an aga x

Our elves arrived, nothing exciting but they did have a letter from Santa and our fabric advent which has a piece of wooden jigsaw puzzle in each stocking. The kiddies chose their own choc ones this year.

Tonight they are going to get trapped in a giant balloon with a pen, and the word "help" written backwards.

I'll try share pics if I remember - I need to focus on applying for jobs this week as in 3 months mine disappears. I need to be strategic in what I apply for as I don't actually want to be accepted - but there is a procedure to go through. I also need to consider that if I do get assigned a job in the process that it's one I can do and that won't drive me nuts. It's a delicate balancing act.

It's a shame it will be hanging over us until well into the new year. But my boss is in my corner, and is part of the hiring / placement group and said he will do what he can to get the right outcome for me :)

    Phew. Life not simple.
On the plus side, I took a lunch break and a colleague bought me a lovely hot choc in the German Christmas market :T
