Thanks for the hugs everyone; got both kids home now and Z gave me a lovely hug which helped. Going to make tea, wash up and then sit and knit this afternoon whilst watching Strictly on the iPlayer - it'll mean I can fast forward Tess when she's so annoyingFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Oh my word I think I'm dying.. my cough.. caused by crazy amounts of glue like mucus has now become a full on whopping cold.. at least the mucus is running like a tap so the cough is pretty much gone.. I may get some sleep tonight.. I haven't a drug in the house I can take so I may just have to go to bed and be the dying swan!

I have done a couple of the biggest and most urgent jobs, but as the light fails I am becoming increasingly tired. Not good! I really haven't got time to stop work and sleep for an hour, but I might just have to, in order to stay awake this evening for the Old Wives.0 -

I'll second that. And happy about your good news CY
Well I've just come off the phone to my mum, and don't know whether to be upset or relieved. She has just spent the w/e with my brother and SIL, and they went to a craft workshop where you could make a Christmas wreath of similar. Huh. She said "I made a decoration you can put a candle in as I don't like wreaths or lots of home made stuff and I've got an artificial wreath." Double huh. Now it isn't her fault I've just spent lotsa money on moss so I can make her a wreath......I calmly said "oh - I'm glad you mentioned it as I was going to make you one like I have done for the past few years". I'm sure I must be adopted; we are so unalike. Anyway I must be positive; I now have one less thing to rush around being stressed about before we go away at the w/e. Not to mention how I'd feel if I'd given her the blasted thing on Friday and she looked askance at it or said something tactless before we went away. Trust me, she would!
So.......pity my Secret Santa recipient isn't close or they would get a nice wreath......
