It is just a cold but it came on so fast and with the constant illness it just knocked me for six.

Pigpen knitting sounds like a very good plan; cosy up on the sofa and sleep if you need to as being ill and hugely tired is just disastrous .... I had similar once and ended up with pneumonia ......

Minnie what a huge list for today!! Hope you slept well last night ready to face the mountain of stuff you have to do.

Dusty thanks for your offer re PM, very sweet of you x

Just found Z down here on the computer when she should be getting dressed (speed in the mornings is not her thing) and turns out it's homework she should be handing in this morning. New rule: homework is to be done straight after dinner - no messing on the iPad or similar grrrrrr.

Off for a walk with Whiz straight after school run then going to do my cleaning straight after. Desperately need to vacuum right through. Knit & Natter is on from 10-12 but just don't feel like it. This afternoon going to ring chap I used to work for - I mailed him yesterday asking if I could pick up a bit of work again as feel useless not bringing any money in whatsoever and he's fine with that so I'll be working again plus for a local transcription agency. Don't think I'm cut out to be a lady of leisure just yet.

    Morning

I'm halfway through dusting my cest of drawers. Got sidetracked with our wedding albums. That's where they are kept at the moment. Best find them a different place.

I'm sick of moving stuff to dust so I'm going to have a fling.

    Kitchen S&s

    Toothbrushes and calendars changed

    Foggy and rainy day

Cough be gone vibes for you Piggers.

Paid stuff for me soon. I've cleaned DS3's shoes and tidied the LR.

Will S&S and then head to the shower.

    Have a good day all.

    Morning all.

Overslept this morning again. But I'm doing my best to catch up. WM is on, I'm up to date with all my computer based stuff except doing accounts which will be done soon. I'm just going to have a coffee and rip up some old paperwork. The dog is in a good mood and wants to play so I'm going to wear him out before I do the accounts ;)

I need to go to Mr A later, when I go will be determined by how long the milk we have lasts! I'll either drop everything and go, or I'll leave it until DD is heading home and go then, then meet her at the bus stop so she's not walking home alone. If I go earlier I'll take the dog to meet her at the bus stop instead. He's refusing to go out this morning as its damp and cold, he won't even go in the yard to toilet! :rotfl:

I best get a move on as I'd like to get the window done today, but work and accounts need to take priority.

  • Huge sympathies heading to Pigpen. I have been similarly afflicted recently, especially with the cough that leads to vomiting....

Must get on with stuff today, including ringing work and finding out how we go about a phased return to work.

Out for tea tonight and then going to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert with the girls from a work.
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

Actually done some housework and the lounge is looking much better - still got this to do:

    Dust windowsills
    Dust your pictures
    Wash a window or two

Vacuumed through everywhere apart from kids rooms and have made an executive decision to take the old office chair to the tip on Thursday when I take Whiz to Agility.

To be brutally honest my marriage is looking shaky right now, so the more I get used to doing things and getting a bit of control back in my life the better :(

    RANT ALERT

Balancing my account this morning (got to love nearly all the bills going out on the 1st of the month!) and noticed E0n have taken more than I thought they were. I've been through ALL my paper correspondence, through my email, checked the online stuff as well and I can't find any trace of them sending me any notification of the increase. They're saying they emailed me on the 23/10 about it but all I have from from 2 weeks either side of that date is a "bill is available" on the 22nd, then on the 23rd I have "thanks for your meter reading", "Change of product" and then a "bill is available" So something has gone wrong somewhere. Now my lovely budget I had yesterday (which meant all the Christmas shopping could be done this week) has had to be rejigged to ensure I can pay every bill in full & on time through until February 2nd. I'm also going to look at my payments to them again as they're saying I need to pay them £84 a month when I've been paying £59 since THEY dropped it in April.

    RANT OVER

Going to grab lunch & some pain killers (I now have a headache) then get on with my work since that has a deadline
