  • Hi, I'd like to sign up for 2017 please? I aim for £1k per month in 2017. 2016 was good for me as I'll be at £9k total by end of 2016. Hoping to go into 2018 with a total of £21k for my house deposit.

So 2017 £12k! Really excited to read everyone's journey.

    Thank you.
  • Hi, I would like to join for 2017 too. I want to aim to save £4k :) x
  • Hi all, reporting a healthy £1305.71 saved for November. This could be my last positive figure as I have just had an offer accepted on a house (yay!) which I will be ploughing the entire amount that I have managed to scrape together over the last eight years. Perhaps I will be able to report one last time at the end of December to finish the challenge!

£450 saved this month. November, December & January are always the toughest months for me, as I'm sure they are for everyone.
  • Declaring £403.53 for November. This month we have moved house and celebrated my partners 40th with several parties etc so I'm pleased with that! A good December and I should hit the target. Which will mean £12k saved in two years!!! Can't believe it

Nope, slowlyfading already said: "You are more than welcome to set your own target! Next year's thread will be up in the next week or so, so feel free to join us when it does. The more the merrier!"

You'll need to sign up by posting in the 2017 thread once it has been created. :)

We're not signing up for the new thread yet - it doesn't exist!

If you want to join up for next year, the thread will be up by the weekend. If you post on there, you'll be added.

    Thanks! :)
