Welshkitty hope you escape getting flooded. It has just rained so much today awful. Just to let you know the old main road to Black cat garage is flooded as well. Wouldn't rush out in the morning ;-)

Fmess save so much paying trades in cash. Will work on saving some up by summer as work I need doing outside requires walls to dry out. Glad you treated yourself. I am staying away from shops till skinny, just putting the pointless down oops x

Just recalculated my debt based on having put everything on my card for a month and the chiropractor's fees for the treatment I've had so far and I'm back over £6k :( Last month, I was thinking that this month I would get below £5k.

Oh dear Fmess poor you. Sure you will get the total down quickly going on your past performance.

Happy happy not raining as now discovered I have a leak from my roof, think where the vent is. Need to climb into loft later.

£9.00 off my cards today, sfd for me and off out for a walk whilst it is dry.

Fmess - it's a shame your debt is going up at the moment.

The flooding here is awful, we are OK but nearby towns and villages are just about cut off and Leeds is flooded which I've never heard of before. It is dry at the moment so at least some water will have a chance to drain away.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Over the last 12months, dd and I have had a plastic bottle where we have put any coins we found on the floor during the last 12 months. It started with us finding a £1 coin, and we were lucky enough to even find a fiver! Overall, we had just over £18 of free money - result.

Needless to say, we shall do the same in 2016.

Today I am grateful for a walk with dd + dh, for cracking on with some knitting, for dd's satisfaction at putting her play doh contraption together and getting it to work, for the Aardman story programme on the box, for a peaceful and enjoyable day.

Well done Apple! If you have time in your life for another challenge, come and join in roadkill rebels for 2016. It's addictive.

FMESS-What goes up ,must come down! Don't worry, pick yourself up and fight on! My debt freedom was short lived, I can tell you, but life happens. Your not alone ;) We will get through this :T Morning everyone :) Very tired this morning, so a short post :)! Hugs to you Dolly, all that weather sounds awful! Well done Apple! I've been avoiding the sales as total broke and need to keep my head down this coming year. My main priorities are replenishing the emergency fund :o paying off what needs to be paid off and saving for holiday. Youngest has spotted a a bear grylls survival day trip in Vegas and is desperate to go on it  To say i'm not very enthusiastic is an UNDERSTATEMENT :rotfl: Have a good day everyone :)

Thanks traveller, calling and dolly. Just feeling a bit sorry for myself this week but need to snap out of it and have been clearing out my office this morning to distract me. Also just been tutoring so that is more cash in the electrician pot.

Just off to walk the dogs before the final family get together of the festive period.

    See you later

Well had a couple of nice walks today with a friend and her dog.

Managed to bump into nearby neighbourhood roofer and asked him to look at my flashing sometime. Eek not sure which one of us went redder. Anyway he's on the case now so hopefully find out cause of my leak. Major flirting see if I can get it done cheaper ;-)

    Good afternoon!!
    :)

Sorry for not posting on Xmas day but between nightshifts, sleeping and presents and lunch, the laptop was not even opened.
I really hope that everyone had a great day.
    :D

This is my one day off before heading back to work tomorrow night (but only for two shifts) then off for Hogmany.
    :j

Last cheque to the credit card went on Boxing Day but not sure if anyone will process it until the New Year. I am classing it as being completely cleared as of 26/12/15 though.
    :T

Away to go and clean the house a bit (should maybe make that a lot, haha) then figure out the plan for 2016. I do love a new year.
    :p

Did spend a little in the sales but I did set myself a limit which I stuck to (amazingly). I also managed to get a beautiful dress for my SIL-2-Be's wedding for £10!! So feeling pretty good about that.
    :happyhear

    Hugs to everyone.
