Morning turtles - hope everyone had a good day yesterday. Work was good yesterday, it's a bad time of year for a lot of the people that I work with and it was nice to see them excited about opening presents and then having a meal together. I didn't eat too much as knew that OH would be cooking when I got home. Once home, opened presents and had a lovely relaxing rest of the day with OH.
I've made a £40 payment to the debt today (1poll payment cleared) and hope to pay another £30 before the end of the year which will take me to under £3500. Getting there
apple well done on reaching your NSD target, I'm currently on 10 (I think). Today should hopefully be one as we have plenty of food and don't need anything. I might go and wander round the sales before work as I got some vouchers for Christmas but don't think I can really be bothered.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Hope Boxing day is going well. Glad I didn't venture out to the sales my niece got stuck in the Next Sale due to the road flooding outside. Been horrendous here, every road is closed with flooding, happy to stay in and eat left over roast dinner. BlackBerry and apple crumble to polish off yet.
Bob well done on PADing. I only managed today to pay 5.71 off my current credit card. With xmas a few of my Dd haven't gone through yet.
Got cabin fever today can only watch so much tv. Cleared my airing cupboard out. Threw white sheets gone yellow out, found a lovely duvet cover for my newly decorated bedroom so will stop me spending. Might try and sell comforter bought in the states on fbook, changed colour schemes. Got a fiver for old duvet cover woo hoo.
Need to sort my credit card payments out tomorrow just realised overpaying one which has 22months interest free instead of the one which deal runs out in May Numpty I am.

Hi everyone!
Hope you are all safe in this weather. Calling glad you are tucked up inside! It is torrential here. We never thought we would have a problem with water as we live on a hill, but the field at the top of the road has flooded and the water is now flowing down the road like a river. Its quite frightening to see, but I think we are safe as the house is slightly raised from the road. We certainly have no intention of going out in this!
Yesterday was a bit of a flop as dh didn't like his present and I think dd was disappointed with hers too (she had less than usual as I'm paying £100+ for a trip for her). Glad it's over for this year.
Have dug out a sealed money box that I got for my birthday. Didn't want to use it as I didn't like the idea of having to break it open, but have since thought it's just useless if I don't use it. So, I have put all my loose change into it and am yet to decide what it will be used for when it's full.
Stay safe everyone!0 -
Well done Apple that's great!
Calling - no such thing as only, you are doing great whether you pay 1p or £1000
WelshKitty - what a shame your family didn't appreciate their things. I find it such an emotionally charged time. I'm sure the trip will be appreciated in the long run." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Over the last 12months, dd and I have had a plastic bottle where we have put any coins we found on the floor during the last 12 months. It started with us finding a £1 coin, and we were lucky enough to even find a fiver! Overall, we had just over £18 of free money - result.
Needless to say, we shall do the same in 2016.
Today I am grateful for a walk with dd + dh, for cracking on with some knitting, for dd's satisfaction at putting her play doh contraption together and getting it to work, for the Aardman story programme on the box, for a peaceful and enjoyable day.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Evening all,
Well done on all of your extra payments. I am itching to make a payment, however I am currently putting everything on my credit card so that I can save all my cash for the electrician (who is coming in January to do major works). If I pay in cash, then it is cheaper and I am about to transfer the credit card to a 0% deal so I figure that I can then pay it off over a couple of months. But I so want to make a payment off my debt and not use my credit card, it just feels wrong to be spending on it.
I've been to my favourite shop that does a 50% sale today but only spent vouchers that I got and £6.50 from cash I was given as a present. Got a smart winter coat, a pair of jeans that I wanted earlier in the year but refused to pay full price for, and a couple of essential bits
I hope you've all had a good day.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
