Well on the quote it gives the date my current tariff ends and the following day the new tariff starts and it`s mid May.
    Well, I'm a bit confused.
I assumed you had received the 42-day-wonder renewal letter but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I think I would proceed with caution if your quote was online. I also think it unlikely they will delay a tariff change for 66 days - but check to make sure.

I have just checked mine and its offering me Simole and Super12M and it says my new tariff will start on 15th June 2021. That is a day after my old one ends. It would go up by £9 a month. I am going to leave it and see what happens to prices as I am on Simple and Superfixed which is a lot cheaper. Would not be so bad if they would let you change again if a cheaper one appeared, but not sure they would,

Golden rule is not to sign up to anything that has more than a minimal exit fee or none at all.

Well, that's a very good delay being offered.
The 'Super12M' does not have exit fees so if you arrange to renew on 15 June, you will be able to stay on the 'Superfixed' until 14 June - to get the most out of it's cheap rates - then you will able to change tariff or switch away soon after 15 June if anything better is on offer.
I can't see any downside to arranging a switch for 15 June unless prices come down dramatically in the next few weeks.

millie is in the same boat as me, it going to be a big increase from what we are currently on.
Fixing now for mid May/June seems like a good offer because there`s no exit fees on the tariff offered.
It`s win win if the Avro offer is correct.

Well, if you really can arrange the switch that early then I am inclined to agree with you.

My only concern is that if Avro bring out a cheaper tariff would they let me switch to it

Seems to me that you always have the right to change your mind, and if the tariff you are on has no exit fee then you should be able to switch in-house or to an external tariff without penalty. Even if at or just after the last minute. It would be short sighted on their part if they made it more difficult for you to stay as an Avro customer (on a different tariff) rather than jump ship.

As far as I'm aware Avro have always let your switch to a cheaper tarriff if they bring one out.  If they don't, as there is no exit fee if there are savings to be had, its likely that there will be other providers you could switch to and save, therefore to be it makes sense to lock in the tarriff now just in case prices do continue to rise.

Not long ago you had a choice of tariffs to switch to internally with Avro but it seems recently they`ve started to offer only one to existing customers.
Still with no exit fees yoiu can always move if they don`t give you the cheaper tariff,
