  • . . .(would be interested to know the unit prices on this new tariff compared to Super 12M), . . .
I found the 'GoSuper12M' using <Avro Energy prices> page. Enter your postcode. Select the tariff from the drop-down list to get unit, daily and exit charges.

Thanks for that, having just checked it would appear Super 12M is cheaper than Avro's latest offering and the best tariff for me to be on at the moment. Hopefully prices will decrease as the year progresses as it's been a kick in the teeth to go from £94 to £140 DD although I'm not holding my breath on energy prices going down anytime soon.

I don`t think Avro charge an exit fee if you just changed tariff with them, only if you leave.

No exit fee at all, even for leaving. e.g. exiting.
There is an exit fee on their latest tariff GoSuper12M.
What I meant was if you were on this tariff there wouldn`t be an exit fee if you changed to another Avro tariff.

    Are you sure??
What decides who gets offered Go Super and who gets Super12M? Does one have a choice?

In a break with Avro tradition, they appear to be taking any credit balances into account when setting the DD for existing customers. I think they're trying to head off any claims for refunds of credit balances.

I just logged in for a renewal and I got offered simple and super12m.
This is to start in mid May when my current tariff ends.
Don`t know what to do now but it`s certainly better than Gosuper.

I'd certainly think twice before getting locked in by exit fees on a new tariff now. "Outfox the Market" seems to be an interesting offer with prices comparable to Avro, good customer star ratings, and no exit fees. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has made these comparisons and with what result.

Well, if it was me, and there are no exit charges, then I would settle for it. Once you've switched to the new account, if there's anything better on offer they normally let you change tariff without charge or you can switch away.
I seems to me to be a mugs game trying to second guess the energy market at the moment. I'm switching to 'SuperSaving' the day after my current tariff ends and I don't have to concern myself with tariff changes until then.

I`m a bit surprised that they`ll hold the tariff for 66 days until mid May.
Even so it`ll still be a hefty rise from my current tariff.

The switching window is only 49 days. Have I missed something?

Well on the quote it gives the date my current tariff ends and the following day the new tariff starts and it`s mid May.
