I've found this a good time of the year to ask for a full refund and then compromise to a 50% one. ... :)
  • Hi,
Has anyone else experienced issues with Avro Energy in the sense that they don’t provide any statements? My account is currently showing that it is in credit by £707 and i have been unable to view any statements online. Speaking to them over the phone and they advised that it was being investigated, yet three weeks later nothing. Fedup of being on hold so i tweeted them and they advised their IT team were looking into this? Getting a little fedup now..any one experienced the same?

With Avro, you often need patience.
Is the (£707) credit balance less than the total DDs you have paid ? i.e. have they charged for any consumption ?
Send them an email so you get a "ticket" number then follow up regularly.

@AzIsmail ...It appears that I have the exact same problem as yourself.  An account in credit but no statements available.  Avro is looking into this for me also. As I keep my own records I know that although the account balance on the website is £300 the real balance is £150 as of my last meter reading on my statement date.  Keep your own records so that you know exactly where you stand regarding your balance, not forgetting if there is ever any discrepancy in your monthly statement you are in a good position to challenge it.

You certainly do. It is over two years ago that I asked them to add .pdf to a downloaded statement file's name.
Hardly rocket science to get that right. ... ;)

But then, Avro customer service personel are hardly rocket scientists. :)

    True.  Very true.
They also appeared not to progressed beyond the cover page of  "The dummy's guide to writing usable websites"

At the risk of causing dissent here, I've been with Avro since February 2018 and my statements have always been viewable in my account and when I download them every month, they automatically have the .pdf extension.  Guess I've just been one of the lucky ones!  o:)
  • I'm only in my second month with them but I have to agree with AngelicaKaty above as I get pdf's available for download on my account??

I was with Avro for about 6 months until Feb. this year - everything I have from them was a pdf ??
