But who the fluff wants 'work experience' in chuffing POUNDLAND?!
I would happily work for free (for work experience) in an animal sanctuary or a school or something, but in crappy POUNDLAND? LOL no thanks! :rotfl:
Some people have no option but to work in these places, I work at KFC so are you going to now say that I am the lowest of the low as I work in such a demeaning job, a job is a job my friend
I hope some of you people never find yourselves unemployed as with your attitudes you would be there a long time0 -

Maybe but I was thinking more on the lines of the leave school and joined the family unemployment business....
No matter what rules they bring in there are those that still manage to sit on their backside and not attempt to engage in even looking for employment let alone actually partaking. There's still whole families that really do expect benefits to be their only income for life. It's time to shake them up and get their lazy bums into!a bit of payback. Local authorities all over the country have had to cut back on services such as grass cutting, park maintenance, litter picking so these shirkers should be made to work for the money.0 -

I agree that they should be made to do it, but as you say for some people it is "monkey see, monkey do" if you get what I mean0 -

Is this a serious post?cooeeeeeeeee :j :wave:0 -
but it may help the long term unemployed, who do want to work, back into work, so surely I can only be good in that sense
If you work hard for nowt how hard are you going to work for money
Some people have the wrong idea about low paid, "demeaning" jobs, and I think they need to wake up and get an idea, low paid jobs can only be a stepping stone to better things0 -

I never realised there are so many job snobs!
My husband has a highly successful career, before I had to take medical retirement I had a very good well paid job but I would never ever look down on someone because they worked in retail or such and call the job demeaning. These 'demeaning' jobs keep the world going round.0 -
Nothing wrong with demeaning jobs whatsoever, so long as you are happy and get paid for it.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
