Cash4clothes type places could be worth it if you have lots of heavy items like jeans and coats. I took lots of children's clothes and they don't weigh much!!!
A few ideas of things to do with the children:
Baking
The library
Seeing the christmss lights in town
Indoor picnic
I must admit, I'm finding it a bit dull myself at the moment. Still, there's only a couple more sleeps until the big day.0 -
Usborne is done until spring now I think, need to work out of I made any money from it..... with stall fees and start up costs I haven't made a mountain so far I think but hope to make a little bit from it next year I hope.
I miss our groups too, roll on Jan lolNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Oh I hope you turn a profit! That's the problem with these things. I would have a break til March too if I were you. But do you think if you stick at it it'll build?
3 more sleeps!! Nearly there. XLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Hey kitten, I didn't realise you had a diary
You've done really well so far! Especially on SMP. I'm dreading that part!
I've subscribed now"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Yea SMP is pants and anyone I speak to is on higher pay like full pay for 6 months and half pay for 3 so have no idea how hard it is. But still moan?! I don't know if I am better holding off the big challenges til March pay day? Just tricky as my 0% offer ends February 1st and I can't get a new deal anywhere
and every time I get the balance down something crops up. X

I don't think being on SMP, should put you off your goal. Every penny counts, so do what you can now and step it up when you are in a position to do so. Starting now will get you into the right mindset.0

Merry Christmas everybody!
Don't know what I'm doing up at this time?!? Xxx
YOU AND ME BOTH!
I have to be up ridiculously early tomorrow as I'm going back to my parents' house and I'm still up. Just came to wish you a Merry Christmas! x
Regarding the bank/credit card balance, don't worry about it right now! Have fun, spend that precious time with your hubby and little girls. it's so much more important. And don't be too hard on yourself about not going to work. All mothers are different and you need to do what's right for you.
As it's Christmas, this is the time to have some fun and leave your worries at the door (easier said then done for some, I know.) When it comes to January, we can start tackling debt again. But for now (as I'm sure your little one will be singing beautifully tomorrow) ...
Let it go, let it goooooo ~!
