Less than one week until payday. Nearly changed all the banking across. Really prefer transferring accounts the proper way where they do it. Moving every direct debit myself is drawn out! Still got 3 to go. Not found a solution to the overdraft problem or heard back from sainsburys yet. And hubbys next pay day I take over! Scary times. Need to get a handle on all of his stuff but the current accounts are sorted down from 5 to 3 between us as of the 23rd. The more I pay off the simpler it all gets from here on in! So let's get cracking.
Although let's not and have a really good Christmas first :) it's all paid for so here we go :) x

I haven't written anything as every time I start its just so negative. I got paid early due to Christmas and it's such a tiny amount. The sort of amount most people on here are paying off their debt each month rather than the amount you'd actually earn. I've realised though I'm on SMP, I have two children to fork out for and its Christmas and I really should cut myself some slack. Normally I'd be running myself way up and at least I'm still on the same figure despite spending loads of money. I only have 2 more SMP pay days then I'm back on my part time wages. It's going to feel like I'm a millionaire lol
Nearly have all the accounts sorted out so that's good but has made oh realise how overdrawn we are plus council tax has got confused and are going to charge us double next month instead. And it's non-stop post too! Definitely won't do it this way again!
Girls totally love their new safe car seats too. I let dd1 pick hers and she's super impressed. And keeps falling asleep in it!! Double win. They should have cost me £270 and I paid £165 so that's made me happy.
I hate all my clothes at the moment. Again. Been wearing the same stuff since 2008 pretty much. Need a massive cull. Don't know whether to eBay, charity or cash4clothes or what? Loads of its just been going in the bin for being threadbare or having too many holes. So I don't really think there's any money to be made but it'll make me feel better. Loads of shoes too but I'll wait for summer to eBay those. Be all cleared out for the move. Going to feel so smug when I pack and I don't have loads of stuff and oh does. And I'm not having to find homes for it all in the new place.
Hope everyone else is well xxx

You have done really well, so don't feel disheartened. When you have a baby, your finances do take a hit, but it is a relatively short period of time, when you think about it.

For a long time, clothes weren't my priority, but in recent years, I've build up a nice wardrobe. I do think it's important to have something for 'you', to make you feel good about what you are doing. I can't comment on eBay, but those cash4clothes places aren't worth it. I've taken huge bags of clothes and got £3. OH says he'd rather throw the clothes away than give it to those 'rip off merchant's.'.

Yeah Chanie I give all my old clothes to Charity shop, not worth the hassle of queuing for a few pounds....

I get you all the negative thing too..... I am so caught up in Christmas/my horrendous mother being here and general spending I have no clue how my credit card/bank account looks...... just keep topping it up when I get my overdraft warning text through! Oooops!

Oh you see I'm looking and its depressing. I know some people reading this will think go back to work then silly moo but I can't. I really want to spend as much time as I can with my girls and my baby is still too young. Not that I judge other mums, it just doesn't work for me. So yea, it's short lived and I'm in the middle so it's always going to be worst financially. Come january get back to boring :)
I need my baby clubs back on! Running out of ideas of what to do in this awful rain!
Sorry about your mum LMM. How's your usbourne doing? X
