Wow just read through your diary...you're selling queen!!! I'm also on SMP and it's such a struggle
I've had to stop selling on ebay at the mo as no free listing offers and 35p listing plus fees means I make about 20p profit if that on the sort of stuff I sell!
You're doing brilliantly. Have you thought about baby wearing for your youngest so you can get more done? I have to baby wear mine most of the day. I'd prefer she slept in cot or buggy but at least this way she sleeps and I have two hands free!0 -
Oh and have you checked amazon for nappies as they often have deals.on the big brands like pampers0
-
Hello note3!
Thank you for the adviceI love babywearing but now she weighs 1.5 stone it's too much for me. I know people do it with 5 year olds but pregnancy totally mashed up my back. Carrying her around at the moment is agony. She will be going on her cot as soon as she's ready. For dd1 that was 14 months. I'm hoping dd2 will be the same or sooner but she's so clingy! Not that I'm complaining.
Amazon nappies always seems to want a subscription. Do you do that? Plus I don't find them cheaper. I'll try again though. Considering ordering baby food on there too.
Thank you for calling me selling queen (smirk!) I think I've got it to a point that hubby has started appreciating it! Does your hubby have an account? Thats how I manage it. It's been tougher without being given offers lately but still doable. I only ever hear good things about gumtree but I always get nowhere and asked stupid questions on there! I would say fb is always worth a try. I do get quite a lot of luck on there.
SMP is tricky but I don't get that much more anyway so it's easier for me to adjust to. And now I've cut my hours more I'll be earning less than SMP (by £5 a month) so I do find it workable.
I'll wander over when it's not stupid earlynight night xxxx
Loan 1 £5200/£8000
Loan 2 £300/£5800

Oh I last bought nappies on amazon about 3 yrs ago so it could well have changed.
What a shame about baby wearing as I wore my last one in a mei tai in back carries til she was about 3.5. If tied high enough it spreads weight fully across your back like a backpack but sounds like you've done something severe to your back then!
Our local facebook sites are awful...time wasters, posts constantly swallowed on pages by the rubbish ad's and some ppl have been really nasty to others. Some sales have been ok but have to admit I find it mostly negative other than selling to my friends if it's something they're after. Sounds like your local sites are much better0 -
I had bad SPD from 6 weeks in both pregnancies. Totally put my spine and hips out. I've had to be realigned so many times. Today was good. My hips are still straight but my entire spine is off. He's put the top and the bottom straight for now and the middle *should* follow. It's hurting!
but it'll be good in a few days. I hadn't been in 5 months!!! Whoops. That was my last of my bank of 3 so next time I'll have to fork out.
Pay day was goodbut I'm officially not on SMP anymore
and that's why it was nice. Allowing myself £30 more a month as I've gone over last few months. Want to steer clear of credit cards still so it'll be better to stay on course but feels like a failure.
So 4 Mother's Day presents to buy and my mums birthday. I won't be getting a Mother's Day anythingso I'm going to help dd1 make me a card. She said she wants to do it online!? Bless her. Might buy myself a Hoover for Mother's Day/my birthday from hubby and the girls. Not only does ours stink it's now making a funny noise too! Hmmm toughie.
Lots of love to you all debt busters!!! XLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Physio is quite fascinating how they straighten and strengthen things!
Could you look into homemade gifts for mothers day then put what you would have spent towards debt?
We need new hoover. Would love a Dyson but can't afford so think we're going to get a Henry
Upping your budget is defo better than using card...not being a failure just realistic and sensible imo0 -
My boyf is looking at replacing our hoover, he has his eyes on a dyson as it's been a dream of his to own one (he has so much more money than me that he can afford to buy one) but i love the classic Henry's as i grew up with one. I hope you get the hoover you deserve!Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020
Debt Free Stage 2 - Completed 50/181 Payments0 -
Can't blame him wanting a Dyson. ..we had one and it was awesome, then thought I'd be sensible when it broke and get an actual Hoover...worst mistake as it was shockingly bad and broke after about a yr. Now borrowing one and when have to give it back we'll get a Henry which thinking about it I'd best get saving for!0

Do you have to buy mothers day presents? Most stuff in the shops is either over priced or junk. My Mum would prefer me not to get her anything. A couple of years ago, I bought a couple of glass vases from IKEA and some tulips from Lidl for mothers day. It worked out to be about £5 and I thought it looked simple but elegant.0

Have you had a look online? A lot of people buy broken dysons and refurb them like new, you might be able to grab yourself a bargain that way? Maybe look on gumtree or local facebook groups?:staradmin :staradmin Emergency Fund @ £300 Non CCJ Debts x 7 @ £2782/ £4055 PAID!
