LMM I think one can be for the best for a lot of people. I miss that one on one relationship me and dd1 had. And she does too. It's very special. I don't think it's bad. Plus you've got enough on your plate.
I love watching my two girls together when they're laughing and playing together. But its hard when dd1 is rough with her.
I didn't think two would be this hard!
Twice I've been let down by the same woman to buy this thing. I've held it off market for her for 2 weeks now. Really unimpressed ;( its not worth much but it's big so I'm sick of it being here.
Wardrobe has arrived and it's HUGE. Very excited. It's going to force me to cut back again. Just wish I could build it myself now!!! I'm very impatient with this stuff.
They talked about Marie Kon on the Wright stuff! Made me feel like I'm a bit relevant to the world :) they took the mickey but I think I take it more in the William Morris way than the silly origami folding extent.
Thanks about the cemap stuff. I haven't been able to start yet as no printer but this weekend I'll print it and get going :)

  • I'm 37 with no children of my own, my OH has a 8 year old son, he can be very difficult (he is on the autism spectrum) but his mother is a nightmare. So many woman (in particular) continue to believe their ex carries a flame for them, they can click their fingers and have it all back if they wanted..... Awkward. I'm happy with a stepson.... I don't know how you guys cope with being a full time parent let alone to more than one child!

And get that wardrobe up! Change is very motivating! Xx

Haha KCC if I touch that wardrobe it will ruin it. I am one of the most useless people at diy and it's tough enough without dd1 joining in which she feels she must. Going through the screws and nails, swinging the hammer about. She's so like her dad. He doesn't see it and it's like really????
It's not so much the looking after my children that makes me feel confident looking after more, quite the opposite. It's just the draw of a newborn. I have really enjoyed it both times so that should do me. Only lasts 5 minutes. And pregnancy destroys my body blooming spd.
I think we all feel differently about children, sometimes some time with one is enough and sometimes not seeing them at all suits (certain family members). Then there's nutters like me that spends every second on them... And I'll still feel robbed when they don't like me anymore lol.
Looked at more Marie kondo and now considering the folding upright. Maybe I do like the origami stuff lol.
Hubby's payday tomorrow! I've done the sums over and over and I'm still worried lol x

Feel a bit of a mug. In between having 3 months of contact lenses charged in one go and him asking extra money than I'd allocated (for a good reason) I haven't been able to pay enough to cover the wardrobe in his account which I thought I could when I was paid otherwise I'd have paid it with my money. But there's also £685.59 he's being charged interest on! Which came to ten pounds! I can't believe they charge you a flat amount for the month and not charge daily interest. Selling off our stuff for pennies to be charged ten pounds for nothing. So total rejig in my plan now and nothing but minimum payments to go to my debts. Making me feel pretty pants.
I get really frustrated how he doesn't know or care about these things. It's not his fault but !!!!!!.
I can't pay that off within a month. Back to the drawing board.
I did have a go at the wardrobe but the babies didn't like being deprived of attention so was hard work and I am so weak!
I dont think I've done too badly though.
    Hope you're all well xxx

What a shame, kitten. Keep your chin up and carry on doing what you are doing.

    Hi Kitten868,
Just a flying visit (no internet at home for a few months,so need to visit libraries to visit you lot :)).

It sounds like you are doing really well.I am pleased your mum was able to lend you the money, and it has helped ease the pressure a bit.

You sound such a devoted mum,and your children will appreciate it ,honest.Yes,it is sad when they start nursery and then full -time school. But it is just a new stage for us all: children gain a little independence, and love coming home to tell you all about their day (and giving you their masterpieces-you think you got clutter now-just you wait! And if you are anything like me,you will keep every little drawing, every painting, every "first",until your loft-space threatens to collapse ).It is also lovely to then be able to devote a bit more time to younger baby.

Must go,but I will continue to follow your diary-you are making such progress, and you really are sounding happier than you were when you started it.

    Take care xx

When people pay way more than should it always makes me anxious. Plus no word from the people who bought the wardrobe. It was clear that it was collection... Aahh. The buyers are nowhere near close so worried they think it's postal.
Anyway enough silly anxiety. Seriously excited to sort this all out. I do think I am mainly going to donate to charity though as I'm not getting anywhere with clothes on eBay. Plus it makes me feel better knowing they're getting the money.
Hope you're all doing well xxx
