Good Morning Peeps
I'm in rather a lot of pain this morning as, embarrassingly, I have a rather nasty abcess on my behind...I'm starting the Antibiotics today so I'm hoping they will kick in sooner rather than later....
Congratulations on the wonderful News about your DGD...that's such lovely news.....
On the Plus side for me....yesterday I managed to pot about £6.40....can't remember the exact amount but I think it was about that....certainly over a fiver and I'm really pleased with that as I don't often get to put a Note in at the moment...and especially at this time of the Year!!
Anyway....I'm off to have some Brekkie and get to my Placement....I love being a Psychotherapist but sometimes I just want to stay at home!! LOL....Never mind, I know today will go quickly...
Huge Hugs and Cuddlies to those that need them....Speak to you all later when I'm hoping to have a stray pound to Pot... xXx0 -
I'm not sure how to reply to individual comments on here
she has been told be her family and several of our mutual "friends" (who are no longer friends) that I'm being unrealistic. I'm just cutting the loss of the money she owes me to live in a better house environment. I just need her to tell me a moving out day so I can advertise.
On the upside I am starting a $2 coin collection I may have been slightly over ambitious with the jar so will be YEARS before it's full hahaNumber 4950 -
Oh thecatsanddogsmother, I hope you get it sorted out soon!
Well there is a 'free' Christmas concert today in the rugby club across from us that I am debating going to - free mince pies! Lol! Got my tree up yesterday so I was delighted about that.
Potted around €2 left over from last nights takeaway with friends.
Settling in this morning with hubby on the couch, he's playing his PlayStation and I'm watching extreme couponers and getting mightly jealous of all the savings.
Gonna pop out later to get Some more wool for the baby blanket I'm crocheting. Xxx094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Will your DGD be having an MSE wedding Sue
£1.93 potted over the last couple of days. Its the school Christmas Fayre tonight so might get a bit more.Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked

Booked a table at a table top sale tomorrow morning so will hopefully have plenty of small change to pot when I get home:j
I don't do many indoor sales (not very profitable) and as the outdoor car boot season is over for the year I've potted all my remaining small-change float:(. It might make buyers pay me with coins instead of offering me a note and expecting all my change in return;). I'm only potting small change and hope to be weighed down with coppers by the time I get home tomorrow:rotfl:0 -

Hello everyone
Been MIA for a while as we suffered a pretty dramatic flood when the river near us broke it's bank on Monday evening  Lots of warning though from the Flood Agency, so we were able to move quite a bit of furniture and precious things up to the first floor, but the water was thigh high outside and the whole ground floor under about two feet. Loss adjuster has been and renovations could take up to 12 months, but we are fully covered by our insurance. Thankfully nobody was hurt, all animals are safe and thanks to DH's lovely mate, we have lighting, limited power and hot water and heating on again.
Rather annoyingly, I had to raid my holding piggy for emergency school dinners for Small this week, so no pottage to report
Anyway, life goes on, if in a rather soggy and stinky fashion, so I'm still in this challenge!0 -
A really Good Morning to all, Potters. Quite a lovely day so far - the sun is out!!! Have a good day, all, and get prepared for a really lovely weekend!!!! Many {{{Hugs}}} for all our poorly family members, I do so hope you're soon feeling so much better! :grinheartWe're thinking of you.Anyway, back to sealed pots... managed to snaffle 40p from DH's bedside table. You snooze, you lose. :rotfl:
An excellent view, Vicky, after all he should know better by now, though bet you're glad he doesn't!!32b3in2013 wrote: »Lol Sue, I thought my washing machine repair suggestion for carbootcrazy was inspired
Inspired by what, 32b3, madness perhaps?!BTW, good thinking of folk getting in touch with their local constabulary website, I bet they know a way even if it's not via themselves. You deserve a gold star for that. :staradmin
Good luck with Lynne's idea, Evo, if not you could always start one of your own on the DFW Challenge board (where we are). Take a look at DreamerHelen's thread and either join (she welcomes that) her or, as I said, start one of your own.
A great idea, Lynne, and a gold star for the help for Evo. :staradmin Excellent saving for the month of November too!!!!! :T
That's some great saving you're doing, wealthygirl, keep it like that and you'll be so happy this time next year!! :j
Oooooh lucky you in asking for a new sealed pot for Christmas, Curly!! Sooooo wise!
Lots of savings there, TheDapster, and thank you, I'm so looking forward to it.
ooooooh poor you, Helen! I really do sympathise with you, so yes, let's hope the ABs kick in pronto! It's so good to hear folk enjoying their jobes, but especially you somehow.
To reply to folk, TheCatsandDogsMother, use the little red/yellow speech bubble type symbols below the posts of those you wish to reply to; bear in mind you can use no more than 3 though. BTW, I think you're best off ignoring her, she's not worth any worry for sure. Hold your head up and look ahead.
Which wool is best, tatabubbly? I want to do a baby blanket for as and when any DGC need them, just not sure wich to go for so I'd be grateful for any help.
Thanks a lot, Modesty, and 28p is savings and hasn't been spent!frasersmum123 wrote:Will your DGD be having an MSE wedding Sue
Not from the way she's been spending on it over the last 18 months, frasersmum, sad really, but.....! Good savings...again!
All the best for the sale, carbootcrazy, I hope you do well.
Thanks for the help, Upsidedown Bear, but why not join us?! Go on.
What a blessing for forewarning, Dizzy Imp! I hope sll goes well for you. Try looking at the "Holding Pot" idea on the 1st post. Good luck to you.:xmassmile Have a lovely Friday, SPCers, and a FANTASTIC WEEKEND....with your POTS naturally!
