SEALED POT CHALLENGE NUMBER 500 :rotfl:0 -
Hellooooooo potterssssssssss
I was pleased with my 20p Sue! Roadkill has been very sparse this last 12 months! Obviously people are being much more careful, which is a good thing.
Now I'm sure I remember (but I may be lying as I actually remember very little these days) when we talked about the giving tree last year, some members didn't have one near them? well, went into my local natwest bank and they are collecting toys for local charities, so for anyone who was looking for a giving tree, it might be worth a peek inside your local natwest bank (I have no idea if this is a nationwide thing or just my area as our poster only mentioned our 3 banks in our local towns)
I'm pretty sure I chucked some change in the pot last night but no idea if I really did or how much  so declaring a possibly non existent potting of indeterminate amount yesterdaySPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Yes. Plastic is my dilemma too. I never have cash to pot. But I now have a standing pot. So there is cash at home if I need it. So my sealed pot yesterday swallowed a whole £10. Another £10 is waiting in the standing pot.
Suu. This is my second time. So I have a very dumb question. SPC experts please forgive me. Is the 2015 total revealed already or are we starting that one now. I only saw 2014 on Suu's signature. A bit confused. Thanks.SPC 08 - #452 - £415

Morning Baby Angel....It's not a dumb question at all...No such thing!!
No, the Numbers haven't been revealed for this Year yet due to a few stragglers that haven't declared....I'm sure Sue will declare what the MAHOOOOSIVE total is once most of the stragglers have returned
Hope that helps....and Well Done for your Potting...you're doing GREAT!!
No more Potting for me today as I'm not leaving the House today....but can't wait for tomorrow when I can Pot some more change!!0 -
A very good Afternoon, Potters. Quite a nice day today though it would be good if the wind would ease up. Have a lovely day, all, and...feed those pots!! Many {{{Hugs}}} for all our poorly family members and I really hope you're soon feeling very much better!Edit: 21p potted today! Every little helps! (This post is not sponsored by Tesco)

Ooooh you rotten devil, 32b3!!! I hope Lucy's DD isn't an SPC member or she'll be spending Christmas Day with her legs firmly glued together!! :rotfl: Still, thanks for the giggle.TheDapster wrote: »Oh I'd better pay the house insurance too  we moved in here on Dec 23rd and every year when the insurance comes due I think what a daft time to move!

What more can be said, TheDapster!! :rotfl:Wentthedaywell? wrote: »FIVE £2 coins today - sometimes I can go weeks without getting one! A pound a day and all £2 coins as a minimum are going in the pot.
I'm combining my "Save a pound a day" and "Sealed Pot #9" into a single pot for simplicity.
Excellent saving, Wentthedaywell, though where £2s are concerned, any shortages can be blamed on jakes-mum as she scouers the country in search of them.....of course it's the truth!
All the best with your weigh-in, Helen, and I hope VM dn't take too long. BTW, a gold star is yours for all your help with Baby Angel :staradmin Many thanks.
Well done with what you've got, tatabubbly, but don't stop hunting for the missing ones!
Very well done, sunshine....
you too, Vicky...good saving!
You 'n all, !!!!!!, and how's your Mum?Now I'm sure I remember (but I may be lying as I actually remember very little these days) when we talked about the giving tree last year, some members didn't have one near them? well, went into my local natwest bank and they are collecting toys for local charities, so for anyone who was looking for a giving tree, it might be worth a peek inside your local natwest bank (I have no idea if this is a nationwide thing or just my area as our poster only mentioned our 3 banks in our local towns)
That's just marvellous to know, jakes-mum!! :j So, if any of our SPCers wish to givetoys for local charities then get in touch with your local NatWest to see if they're taking in toys. Thanks so much for that, jakes-mum, and a gold star for you for helping the kiddies. :staradminBaby_Angel wrote: »Yes. Plastic is my dilemma too. I never have cash to pot. That's an excellent idea to have a standing pot, Baby Angel! Where's a will there's usually a way.Great savings BTW!! :j
Also, as Helen's already pointed out: NO QUESTION IS A DUMB QUESTION, let alone a very dumb question!! So please don't ever think you're being silly or anything like it - as you're NOT!!!
The last savings year was SPC 8 which ran from Nov 14 to Nov 15 and also as Helen says - we're now waiting for naughty stragglers so I can tot up the Grand Total and let you all know. I'm hoping it will be soon, but.......!
Well done, frasersmum, and fingers crossed for tonight.
Fantastic work with the unexpected windfall of 5ps, lexbubbles!!
Shopping is all done, we went with eldest DGD and middle DGS, great fun with both who are a right pair of comics. £15 now potted along with 3 x £2 coins!!!!! :j Nanananana..jakes-mum...that's 3 you didn't get!!! :rotfl:

I love this thread! Everyone's doing so well, it's a joy to read your posts which are motivating and entertaining at the same time:beer:. Sue, your summary posts are a real tonic and always make me laugh. How sweet you are to respond to everyone who's posted and not leave anyone out:A
Well, after that upbeat paragraph I'm about to be annoyed:mad:. After being so overjoyed at finding that 50p under my washing-machine and potting it:j I think I should have held on to it. Easy to get carried away on this thread:rotfl:. The washing -machine repair man didn't turn up and when I eventually managed to get in touch with him he says he's pulled something in his back and won't be back in action until next week:(. Very rural here, repair men are few and far between and as he's good and cheap I'll just have to hang on until he does get here.
Meanwhile I've a mountain of washing and totally dead machine. The launderette it is then and it's a round trip of 30 miles to the nearest:eek:. I'm going to need more than that potted 50p to feed the machines:(. Not going to raid my pot though, I doubt the machines take coppers.0 -
