    Afternoon all :hello:

Welcome to all the new peoples and hope you enjoy saving with us - you'll get to have a few laughs on here that's for sure

The Police 5 was originally for five minutes and apparently helped catch 7,500 criminals, even helping to find some of the Big Train robbers !!

Potted a crisp tenner today for this week :j

Sue - I am on the ''make £10 a day' challenge and have promised myself to put into a savings account every month up to £250. Would it be okay to add any left over each month to my pot savings ??

My DS, who lives in Ibiza, arrives for a short break on Saturday and we are going to see the ice hockey on Saturday night. If the weather allows we are also planning to go over to see The Kelpies and, hopefully, also the Falkirk Canal wheel - so lots to look forward to atm.

Hope you all have a super weekend and happy saving

Hello lynn! Do you mean anything you make above £10 to go into the pot? Like you make £12 and £2 goes to the pot?

I think that would be fine, after all it is "spare change" isn't it? :rotfl:

Hah. I always thought it was "darling husband/son/daughter" and not "dear". Makes no difference to me though, I have none of the above :rotfl:

Lex, you know that it's an accumulative challenge as most on here..

So, as I said, I have pledged to myself to bank whatever I make each month up to £250 in a regular savings account for the year (£250 a month is the maximum allowed). Then, anything left over I was thinking of potting if that's okay with Sue - save me being tempted to spend it eh ;)

Oh I see I thought you meant potting your excess over £10 each day (rather than getting to £250 and then potting everything else thereafter)
