Hi Emma, you are very welcome to join us. Sue will be along to give you your number. Please read the First Post on Page One to find out everything you need to do. This is very important as Sue tells us off if we haven't read it.
You will need to put your number in your signature, see Quick Links at the top of the page for that. Also you must subscribe to the thread as you might lose us. Thread tools on the 2nd green line helps there.
Happy to have you with us. Enjoy saving.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

I've got into the habit of checking my purse for small change every evening. This potting lark has already become addictive. I love feeding my pot:j
Not going to count and remember how much I put in each time as I want a surprise on opening day;). It's only 20p pieces and under that I'm potting but something is going in most days:T
My purse is very small:( and I was thinking of buying another but now I've found this challenge I'm emptying it of change every day so don't need to carry so much around any more. Saving coins and saving on buying a new purse too. Win-win:j0 -
Well didn't spend anything again yesterday but I had a disaster with the washing machine last night. Decided to do a maintenance wash at 95 degrees. Next thing, suds and water all over the floor and the machine flashing DFO at me!
Oh heck, I thought what now? The anti flood device had kicked in and stopped the machine.Anyway, DH got his spanners out and we mopped up all the water, gave everything a good clean and hey presto the machine is now working again. Best of all, I found 20p in the filter :j so that's gone in my pot
Moral of this story, clean your filters, you never know what you'll find! :rotfl:SPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.830 -

And I have been referred for Exercise by the Doctor so the next 6 weeks (twice a Week) at the Gym has cost me just £12....£1 per session which I can't grumble at (especially since my old Gym cost me £60 per month!!!!!!), AND it will hopefully help me to get a bit fitter....And then I made a lovely Bolognese for Tea, which was YUMMY and had enough for 3 more portions - So 2 have gone in the Freezer for next Week and one I shall eat tonight...
...
Plus, Ruth, I LOVE your idea of the bits of paper...I may have to steal that one if it's okay....although not sure I could manage the bigger amounts....maybe I'll do it in monthly amounts so do the paper from 1 - 12 and then pick one of those each Week after all the Challenge is for the next 12 months.... Thanks for the idea xXx
Well done on the weight loss lovely!! I desperately need to do something to try and lose weight. Need to start going to work earlier so i can finish earlier and do some exercise before it's too late and i have to rush home.lexbubbles wrote: »It's a Pifco PE151 luxury heated throw. Cost me £43.99 on Amazon with free delivery on prime.
I was torn between this one (which is cream) and the Relaxwell by Dreamland (chocolate) which is a few £ cheaper but was unfortunately out of stock when I ordered yesterday.
In stock now, though. Bloody typical :rotfl:
Anyway the pifco is lovely and has 5 heat settings on it. Shove it on 5 to start with to warm up and then you really only need on 1 or 2 once it gets going. Good size as well. Could probably use it as a top blanket on a double bed.
I have been looking at these. I am considering getting my OH one for christmas. The Pifco is a lot bigger than the dreamland one so i think i am going to do for that and hope he doesn't break it using it in bed. I read if you lie on it it can break them.
I am considering doing away with my pots and just getting one big one. I have change piling up in my purse because i keep forgetting to actually pot it lol.
Also, i got a spangly new 2015 pound coin. I thought it was fake at first and had to look it up. They're selling for like £5 on e-b@y!!Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4
