Put 4.50 ish in change from shopping yesterday. Will be staying in today possibly so no money will be spent.
Am I allowed a virtual pot as well?No Spend November 2/15 and SPC 1340 -
A very Good Afternoon (it will be by the time I've finished this!
), folks. I hope you'll all have a good, or resonable day, and just might have a little to pot by the end of the day. Please don't worry if you don't, as we can't always be potting, just be happy when you can. :grinheart{{{Hugs}}} to all those of you feeling low or with colds etc. Get well soon!
Great news about your throw, lexbubbles, and it looks as though others will be following you lead, especially as they've got you to review it for them, perfect!!
Good luck with sorting your profile, hummingbird. Not been doing too well potting recently but have managed to pot £2.20 in change from today's trip to the supermarket.
Never worry if you're unable to pot, Rylee, the main thing is that you pot when you CAN!!! You did well with the £2.20 which is just wonderful and money stashed away for next Christmas!!!Be happy with what you get and remember we can't save all the time.
Tweren't me who turned the switch, Westie, honest!! :eek:32b3in2013 wrote:Don't worry carbootcrazy, we are not in competition with each other. We are all thrilled at any amount that anyone saves. Keep going, all the p's soon turn into £'s
Very wise words, 32b3, exactly right! :j Yes, I'll keep my savings up, but only on a weekly scale, though when DH put his jeans on this morning there was a destinct rattle of cash so I'll be investigating those pockets later!!! :rotfl:
Well done you too!Daisychain1 wrote: »* creeps back in*........Hello all and sorry for my absence sue. I'm back on the potting train and raring to go and although nothing to report today I will be back tomorrow with my total
There's absolutely no need to be sorry, Daisychain, so please don't ever worry about that, the main thing is that you pot when you're able to!
I guess your little boy's tongue tie appointment means he has a speech impediment, sunshine, our DS did when he was young...though you'd never think so to hear him now! :rotfl:
Be careful, Lynne, as one of these days when you <<"Chuck some shrapnel at the pot">> you're going to smash it!!!!! :eek:stepuptothepl8 wrote: »here's a pic of my piggy bank.. I think it might take a while to fill..
£3.25 potted today. Hope everyone is toasty warm tonight xx
He/she is a smashing pig, stepuptothepl8, though you may just be filling it quicker than you think at the rate you're going. Keep it up! :j
Very wise putting the £1.30 odd in your holding pot, Moonbean, too late once it's in the sealed one.
Well potted, Vicky, every bit helps!indigowarrior wrote:Put 4.50 ish in change from shopping yesterday. Will be staying in today possibly so no money will be spent.
Am I allowed a virtual pot as well?
Good potting, indigowarrior, and most certainly you're allowed a virtual pot as well. There's a thread for that on MSE, or perhaps you already know. You can also declare your savings in it on here next November. Good luck to you as any saving is better than known!! :T:xmassmile Be sure to have a lovely Wednesday, SPCers..and don't forget to feed your pots when you can!!
NB Savers: 3rd November is the new opening date for2016.

You're so like me, siju, but I do find that 2 long walks a day help a lot...though I sweat like the clappers about 15 minutes after each. Definitely an age thing!!
Absolutely, every morning I take the dog on a 3 mile quickstep around our village and I'm sweltering when I get back - the dog's ready for a lie down too! We're both a funny age, if you know what I mean! If only I could keep that going until lunchtime. Ah well, soup again for lunch
