    Evening

Police 5 - wasn't it on on Sunday lunchtime just before, or after the Smurfs? Obviously I don't remember that, someone much much MUCH older told me :D:D

All this talk of Police 5 has made me feel very old:o.

Shaw Taylor, the presenter of the original series. died earlier this year aged 90:(, there was a bit about the show on the various news programmes at the time.

The original programme was first shown in 1962 (not that I remember it, my Grandad told me about it;)) in 5 minute episodes, hence the name. I recall it being a longer programme than that when I used to watch it, more like Crimewatch, but I may be totally mistaken. Doesn't take much:o. It seemed to be on our screens for decades.
  • Not much potted over the past few days as nothing much spare. £1.23 in though and that's better than nothing and much better than my usual savings amount of nowt!
