41p potted today. 20p in coat pocket and 21p found in car on way home from work. It's crazy how doing this potting gets you so excited upon finding a 20p haha

You're under your pot's spell, evo5819, this is extreme addict disorder, and can only be treated by potting and potting and potting!!! ;););)

Potting with the usual fervour then, Kerry, but of course!

Well done, Chutney, and I hope your OH is really proud of your way of saving. :D

It was lovely for walking, TheDapster, certainly blew the cobwebs away when DH & I went out for sure. Re the time: the older we get the faster it goes, so I'm told, so when we get to THAT sort of age we'll be prepared!! ;) Have a lovely day with your Mum.

ooooh fantastic potting, Hicksy, great work!

I take it your friend's not a potter then, Modesty, ah well we can't all be perfect and at least you benefited!! :D
:xmassmile Be sure to have a lovely Sunday, Potters, enjoy yourselves....your pots too!

Well I don't live with him now, so I don't have to deal with him chucking food out all the time that I at least partially paid for.

Are we allowed to 'buy' coins to pot? I never thought of that way of getting them:o, I've been relying on serendipity and keeping my fingers crossed every time a sales assistant hands me my change:rotfl:. I've got into the habit now though of handing over a fiver instead of the exact amount needed for very cheap purchases so that they have to give me coins in my change(55p for a newspaper yesterday for instance) that I could/should have paid for with the coins already in my purse. No wonder sales assistants are always moaning that they've run out of change and have to go to the next till to find some:o

Like Modesty said, welcomes and hugs to all who need them.

A massive thank-you to Sue for my unexpected star:T:T:T. Will wear it with pride:)

Darn sure we're allowed to buy coins, carbootcrazy, or to even ask for X amount of 'cashback' after making a purchase at a supermarket etc; whichever way you look at it...it's saving!! :j If we were always to rely on serendipity we could wait quite a while. ;) Save and be happy, proud too of what you'll achieve by next November! :grinheart

Good Afternoon, Potters. What a windy day, not too wet down here, but blowing a gale! I hope you all have a really lovely day, and are looking forward to Monday. NO you say?! Oh well, best make the best of today then! Many {{{Hugs}}} for all those of you who are poorly, I'd like to say we'll do your potting for you, but.....;) I hope you're soon feeling very much better! :D
