Definition of romance: a feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love.
As long as it feels romantic to the couple, it doesn't matter if other people think it's too cheap/normal/simple/private/public/[insert your own word here], etc.0 -
It's capturing a moment. Do people not make wedding videos? I think sex tapes are a bit worse taste than a proposal video but everyone seems to do them still.
To show how awesome & creative I am of course. Didn't you see the comment about proposal's being the guy's "look at me" moment? :P You can also edit in music etc to make it epic.
