Being a Kleeneze Distributor

roaming_rhino wrote:The best thing to do is put a small note in your porch window or similar visible place asking no home shopping catalogues please
that way you dont get what you dont want and you save the distributor 50-60p for the lost catalogue
easy to do - easy not to do
Remember all Kleeneze distributors are running thier own business - self employed - so you may advise someone you dont want one , they may quit then someone different drops another catalogue in . You shouldnt vent your anger on the new distributor - he/she doesnt yet know you dont want a catalogue unless - you speak with them or as I say put a note in your window
I put the note into the bag with the catalogue the first time. If that is ignored then I will bin them after that, but only from the repeating distributor. This way, there is no doubt that they have seen my message and I don't expect to have to put things on my windows asking people not to deliver things I don't want in the first place.
I would never throw away a catalogue from a first timer in our area.
Kleeneze would have a better name around here if they divided towns into areas and allocated one person to collect in each sector.0 -

Most companies would have been shut down years ago - lets get a reality check here , yes everyone is entitled to their opinion - you made yours.
From my 10 years in the industry I have discovered the people who love to voice their opionion about what it is and what it isnt usually have had their fingers burned by joining the wrong opportunity
In our case Kleeneze isnt a scam , it has traded on the stock market for many decades and founded the DSA . The people who join will get out of it what they put into it , just like anything else out there
there seem to be some experts on this thread - you know what they say about experts
I have never been involved in Kleeneze and I think it is inappropriate putting it through people's catalogues. As for experts no I dont know what do they say about experts. There is in any event no need to get personal. What qualifications do you need to enlist in Kleeneze exaclty? All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0 -
Please could we keep on topic and not resort to posting threads aimed at specific members,

We don't have to use any of the products ourselves - although it obviously makes sense to use them yourself . We for instance use printer cartridges from our catalogue and get our commission and bonuses off them, washing up liquid, washing powders etc from the Ecover environmentally friendly range, cooking sauces etc. The same with sponsoring people into our biz, we only ever let them see what we are doing, if they choose to join fine if not thats fine as well.
I wholeheartedly disagree with it being easy money - it takes effort and time to build and if anyone says it is easy money then they are not telling the truth. Nothing comes free these days, it either takes money and time and in most cases lots of it - like franchises or it takes your time and your effort which is the category MLM falls in and is ideal for those people who want to run their own biz from home but also have the support of a network and who can't afford the franchise/business owner costs of conventional businesses.
it is usually the friends and family that are recruited...."See you on the Other Side"0 -

Ive been binning them for years - this way it actively discourages them being put through our letterbox ever again.

jazzyjustlaw wrote:I dont need to grow up I just dont want spam in my letter box I have a valid point in that. I dont think this type of business should be allowed to continue. I am sure that comes within the realms of this thread but I wont write anything further on this thread.
Mind you I see Rhino that you are such a distributor. I would just like to say why cant you do parties instead? Give your catalogues to people who want them then? I love Bodyshop Parties and Ann Summers they are good fun. If I was gonna buy such stuff and who needs to now you have Wilkos I would go with Bettaware in any case.
from what I know of some of the "fun" events that go on at a Ann Summers Party, Im sure Id deff. want to go to a Kleeneze Party to see what they get up to with their dishmops, washing-up liquids and shampoo bottles! :rotfl:"See you on the Other Side"0 -

I dont see why you should have to pay out in the first place. You dont with Betterware. Anyway I am one day - all being well - be a partner in a law firm and buy property and rent it out so i will stay in my job thank you. My ultimate ambition is to be a Judge but I can have businesses as well and it doesnt involve delivering catalogues. All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0 -

I have an ongoing problem with these little catalogues that come through my door as well. It started about 2 years ago, I returned the catalogue with a 'no thank you' and thought that would be it.
More catalogues turned up and I started to put them outside my porch door with a note saying no thank you, but would get an irate collector telling me off for spoiling her catalogues by putting them out in the rain. I said that I didn't want them and was told that I needed to actually put a notice on my door to that effect otherwise she would 'tell' her area supervisor about me.
I was polite but firm and insisted that if she left any more catalogues I would just put them in the recycling pile. The next two or three went into the recycling pile and I thought that was the end of it until my son got told off on my doorstop for not being able to return the catalogue when she called for it (I was out). She worried him by saying that I would be charged for the cost if I couldn't return it.
I can't understand why someone can't realise I don't want them and save themselves money by not leaving them on my doorstep. AT one point i was getting one every three weeks or so, it must have been costing a fortune.
