I do have a NSV to report though, as I bought a new pair of leggings yesterday in my usual size and they're going to have to go back as they're way too big! :j

Snipping my own post. Back from exchanging the leggings and even the next size down is quite loose on the waist! Think my legs are too chunky to go down another size just yet though (I'm pear shaped) so will hang on to them for now. I only wear leggings around the house and to weigh in, so not the biggest deal if they're not the perfect fit. Will wait for the sales and pick up the next size.

That reminds me, does anyone else always wear the same clothes (for those who weigh at group, rather than at home) to weigh in? I've noticed this seems to be common at my group. I tend to wear clothes that are of a similar type/weight, although not always exactly the same thing. But one lady started in summer and still turns up every week in the light skirt she wore the first day.

NSV, a Xmas jumper I bought two years ago is far too big, it was the last thing I put into my already full charity shop bag of stuff which I handed in today.

Bought two more Xmas jumpers. One is on the little on the tight side, though will be fine next Christmas.

We can wear Xmas jumpers 1-24 Dec inclusive. Many colleagues tend to wear them as the shop is bloody freezing. Just need someone to create a winter jumper, a spring jumper and an autumn jumper....

Oh definitely. I think it's best to control as many variables as possible when it comes to WI so same time of day, similar clothes and I try to have the same breakfast (Puffed Wheat) before I go. I know lots of people skip breakfast on WI day but as I started as a spur of the moment thing after I'd had breakfast I still have mine.

I wore the same black trousers and baggy top for months and months to WI after I started. They got looser and looser and eventually I could take the trousers off without opening them and they'd only stay up with a belt.:D

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, kippers, HEB bread, HEA milk
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion and pickled cabbage
D: corned beef hash (peppers, onion, mushroom, tomato) with cabbage and broccoli
Syns: corned beef, scrape of spread, weekend wine;).

Grr! to the lamb burgers disappearing. I hate it when that happens, maybe it's a Christmas thing? Why don't you buy the beef quarterpounders BEG? They're really good and only 1 syn where the lamb are 2.5. Good on you for resisting the chippy.

Meal plan is done and off to shops in a moment. I'll think of you when I'm in Sainsbury's BEG.

I considered the beef quarterpounders - I think they were TTD Aberdeen Angus but I couldn't find them on the SW app and thought I had better steer clear as some of the other SM quarterpounders were quite . Have since checked online at home and I still cannot find them but if these are the same ones I will be giving them a try especially as they were reduced this week. It doesn't make sense to go to the bother of making your own. Wasn't too keen on the SW beefburgers from Iceland. They seemed quite dry. We tend to blitz mushrooms into our hm ones and this tends to keep them more moist. A little cheffy tip from my DH maman ;)

Didn't go overboard this week in Sainsbobs as we are trying to make a little room in the freezers for the Christmas stuff (Aunt Bessies roasties, Aunt Bessies Parsnips and desserts to begin with). Managed to get quite a few of the Aldi Super 6 yesterday - parsnips, brocolli, maris piper potatoes, carrots - all 39p.

Shame your mum didn't get to the funeral Beg, she's probably struggling to accept that her sister has gone because she hasn't had closure. Also, twins have a special bond which will make it even harder for her. As maman said, she's lucky to have you around. Well done for your blood results. :T

I think this is a very good point Lois. Anyway you will have to stop singing my praises as I am starting to blush and my head will be getting so big - just think of all that extra weight I will have for next weigh in :rotfl:

Congratulations with your nsv with your leggings :T. I only buy the el-cheapo Primani ones (£3) - I'm currently getting 16s but next time I buy some I might splash out and try a 14 - can always use them to check on weight loss.
ETA - I usually wear leggings and lightweight top for weigh-ins each week.

What a result Horsey - all those bloomin awards in one go - well done you :T:T:T

Well done to all our other lovely losers. :T

Off for tea now will read a few more posts before I go out.

Morning everyone, I hope you're all well

It's another gain for me this week 1.5lb on this time, totally expected and completely deserved. My head's just not been in the game for the past 2 weeks. Am quite amazed to have only put on 2.5lbs. But this week will be a good one I can feel it. I didn't have my usual weigh day pig out on Wed, which I feel lots better for. It seems to take me so long to get out of the habit of eating rubbish and I never feel better for it, so don't know why I do it. Anyway new week and fresh start ..

Good luck for the coming week Candyapple :D Enjoy the Soap and Glory Set. I have often been tempted by them but I have dodgy skin and have to be so flamin careful what I use grrrr

I wear leggings with a top. Even wear one of my lightest bras! Take off my watch and specs too.

Remember half a pound is 227g. So wearing some heavier clothing could tip you to the next half pound up.

On a few times where I had to go somewhere afterwards, I change my trousers in the loos

I weighed my clothes out of curiosity. DH is working late so I'm REALLY bored. :rotfl:

There's about 60g difference between my lightest and heaviest tops, although I wouldn't wear the heavy ones to weigh in as they're my going out tops. Out of the ones I do wear, only about 20g difference. At least I'm consistent! :p

Something like jeans would definitely add half a pound, but I've never worn those to group. Same as you, I change afterwards if I have to go somewhere else immediately.
