2lb gone this week and I'm really pleased :j

We ate out on Sunday but I didn't go OTT and I managed quite a few walks and circuit-walks of the park this week ...in between all this week's rain !

    So close now.

I'm still on (my self-imposed) target for mid January. I had tried to start at the beginning of January but had a number of false starts! :rotfl:

Another 1lb this week so 7lb in 4 weeks. Am slightly annoyed as weighed yesterday and was 2lb down. Keep telling myself that 1lb per week is over 3 stone in a year so not all bad.

    Today
    B overnight oats
    L SW stew
D HM Bubble and squeak cakes, salmon and fried egg
    S melon apple and satsuma

    Water and green tea

Well it's only partly on plan today - just until lunchtime.

B - porridge made with water; Mullerlight banana and custard flavour
L - LO roast chicken, celariac, red cabbage, peas, roast potatoes and a little onion gravy
D - HM giant cornish pasty to eat on the way😊

Have a brilliant Christmas and New Year.

    Back in 2016:T.

  • Well done to the latest bunch of losers among us :T.

I forgot to mention that when I saw gp yesterday he was chuffed to bits with my blood results. I thought my cholesterol would have been lower (5 point ?) with all this healthy stuff I have been shoving in. When he looked at the breakdown he said that some of the numbers were awesome - if he's happy - I'm happy :D. I suppose if I upped (actually got around to doing some) exercise this may help - that doesn't really appeal to me and will just carry one trying to be more active ;). He said the slightly raised figure could be a family thing - that's the excuse I am going to use :rotfl: My bmi is now 25.8 so am getting near to healthy weight :j. Told my DH that if I had some of my wobbly bits removed - I might actually be underweight . It's safe to say that I wont be going down that route. :rotfl:

Guess what's gone missing at Sainsbobs maman - the TTD Lamb and Mint Quarterpounders  Had planned on getting them for lunch today when DS visits so the 'committee' have decided a chippy lunch would be good. I will hasten to add that I abstained from the vote :p. I think I have some Birds Eye salmon stuff in freezer that I can zap in microwave.

Cannot believe that the Big Day is only two weeks away. Broke the news to Mum this morning that we are doing Christmas Dinner at her house. She says she would rather we spent some time in our own house and that she will be alright (bless her).

Well waiting for my chauffeur (sp?) to collect me from Mum's and then we are off to Sainsbobs (oh joy). Just had email from them to say I could get 10x points tomorrow and Sunday - typical grrr.

  • Morning all,

Well done to Arkers for joint SOTW and all other losers and STS - seems like any losses at this time of year are extra good news.

Reporting a 2.5lb loss this week please Shala - plus I got 1.5st shiny, Club10 and SOTW - not a bad haul - maybe should've done the lottery on the way home!!:rotfl:

Am feeling rather stiff and sore today - it was "new routine" time in body pump class yesterday (exercise class using weights) and it's reached lots of new muscles - hope shoulders and gluteus maximus (!) ease off soon!!!

Hope everyone has a good week, and that your OH is on the mend soon Blackrose and that you enjoy France Denise.

    Morning :)

Back on plan for me for the next 2 weeks as I haven't got any more meals out planned until Christmas Day. Yesterday's meal was lovely, but lots of naughtiness. I managed 3 courses but didn't finish any of them and felt really full for the rest of the day.

Shame your mum didn't get to the funeral Beg, she's probably struggling to accept that her sister has gone because she hasn't had closure. Also, twins have a special bond which will make it even harder for her. As maman said, she's lucky to have you around. Well done for your blood results. :T

Well done Beanie, Debjay, Elona, Sandhy and everyone who has lost this week.

Have a great day everyone, it's nearly the weekend! :j

  • Morning all! Well done to all the losers. There are some impressive losses coming in, given that it's December! :j

Need to have a good day today before weigh in tomorrow. Had a couple of not completely on plan days, although I still ate quite healthily, just not within SW parameters!

    Menu today:

    B - banana, 2 x clementine, activia
L - Cauliflower cheese soup (hea), wholemeal roll (heb)
D - Meatballs, pasta, tomato veg sauce, ff greek yoghurt, cherries, raspberries, synfree lemon curd
    S - kitkat (5.5), popcorn (4), jelly (0.5) ricecakes (5)

Managed to get the syn free lemon curd right. Going to use it to make a variation on Nigellas lemon curd pavlova at the weekend. Will use sweetened greek yoghurt instead of cream, so the only syns will be in the sugar in the meringue. I need to have a practice run at the meringue as I'm doing a salted caramel one for xmas day and I've never made it before.

Fantastic result HorseyKaz! That lottery ticket doesn't sound like too bad an idea, jackpot is £44m tonight. :rotfl: Well done to all the other losers as well.

Today is SP and random leftovers day, as Fridays always are for me...
Breakfast - Arla Protein, berries and grapenuts (HEB1)
    Lunch - Salmon and salad
Snack - Peppers stuffed with soft goats cheese (HEA)
Dinner - Leftovers from yesterday, pulled pork and veg
    Pudding - Hifi (HEB2)

Weigh in tomorrow. I think it'll be another slow week as still feeling really bloated, but we shall see! I do have a NSV to report though, as I bought a new pair of leggings yesterday in my usual size and they're going to have to go back as they're way too big! :j

 Bonnes Vacances et Joyeux Noel denise. And I envy you the giant pasty!!:D

:T Brilliant losses coming in this morning. Well done all of you.:T

Grr! to the lamb burgers disappearing. I hate it when that happens, maybe it's a Christmas thing? Why don't you buy the beef quarterpounders BEG? They're really good and only 1 syn where the lamb are 2.5. Good on you for resisting the chippy.

I've got a nibbly party (tomorrow) and probably a Chinese next weekend this side of Christmas lois. Glad you enjoyed your meal, I did too. DD1's birthday is on 20th and as it's a horrible time for going out for a meal, she generally opts for a massive Chinese.

Meal plan is done and off to shops in a moment. I'll think of you when I'm in Sainsbury's BEG.

Will post menu later as not sure what I fancy for lunch yet.
  • Morning everyone, I hope you're all well

It's another gain for me this week 1.5lb on this time, totally expected and completely deserved. My head's just not been in the game for the past 2 weeks. Am quite amazed to have only put on 2.5lbs. But this week will be a good one I can feel it. I didn't have my usual weigh day pig out on Wed, which I feel lots better for. It seems to take me so long to get out of the habit of eating rubbish and I never feel better for it, so don't know why I do it. Anyway new week and fresh start ..

    Today's food:

    B - porridge with apple & cinnamon
L - chilli leftovers with carrot chips
T - apparently we are having an indian tonight - so I'm going for chicken sashlik which isn't in my sw book but can't be many syns as there's no sauce as it's just chicken kebabs (will feel better about being naughty too as there's speedy peppers onion and tomato in it ;))

I'm going shopping in a little while, so will pack myself a speedy fruit bag to munch on while I'm out. Treating myself to the Boots Soap & Glory set, it'll be my early chrimbo prezzie to myself :D

    Have a fab holiday denise

Well done everyone with losses this week :T and hugs any fellow gainers

    Have a fab day everyone
