Joedenise - I used to do SW online but stopped my subscription at the start of the year so no clue what SP is.

Going to start classes in the new year as I think I need the weekly weigh in by someone else to keep me on track.

Is melon and grapefruit still speed foods? Beans?

That's a nice feeling june, enjoy whatever you decide on this evening.

debjay, I don't see an HEA on your menu. What about some parmesan with your Bolognese. I find it makes all the difference.

You might be yo-yoing with that pound in the next few weeks lantanna but I'm sure you'll see progress after festive food is done with.

I've been out at Aquafit so only just seen this Maman but will remember the tip for next time. I seem to have either HEA or HEB but not both on many days. I know it's not ideal but does it really matter with weight loss?

I guessed it'd be mental here in January. I thought if I make a tentative start in November it'll give me a bit of a cushion for Christmas and head start for the New Year.

    Morning,

Seems quiet on here at the minute, pleased to report a 1 lb loss at wi last night. Was very pleased after my xmas dinner on Saturday. Got to crack on now and get the losses going.

Just after Cottage cheese on Heb Toast with Tomato and lots of black pepper. This is my favourite breakfast without doubt.

Made the stroganoff again last night. Going for an Indian on Saturday so that will be my treat for the week.

Well done on loss lantanna :T. You have just given me inspiration for supper - bread needs toasting I think so will do some cottage cheese, toms and black pepper to go with. Thanks for that ;). Enjoy your treat night :D

Well done CP - take one day at a time and we will get there ;)

Hope things settle down for you soon theblackrose and that you both have some quality time over the hols.

Found myself in Costa today and ... I was a good girl and had a pot of Christmas tea (nothing to go with honest) :p. Must admit I was getting tempted the time I was stood in the queue. I noticed they had little gift packs of the coffee flavourings that were mentioned recently - they could have been around £5.99 (?).

Had a lovely sausage casserole for our meal tonight - one of DH's make it up as you go along type things. Mum enjoyed it too which was nice and we have enough leftover (no sausages) but mushrooms, onion, peppers, toms and butter beans and this will do lunch tomorrow with some pasta. Mum will try most things but I cannot get her to try pasta or rice :rotfl:

Hope you have all managed to stay safe and dry through this dreadful weather that has been affecting parts of the country.

I can remember last Jan it was manic at the SW classes . All the people with their New Years Resolutions and all that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Quite a few just go to get the books and new starters talk and then disappear over the next few weeks and things settle down then.

Melon and grapefruit are still speed foods. Beans (I'm assuming you mean the legume type, e.g. baked, not green) are not speed as they're now classed as a protein source. Still free though!

We're getting a new consultant and her first solo led group (she's sitting in on the upcoming two, I think) is the January 2nd weigh in. I already feel sorry for her. :rotfl:

    A milk A milk B cereal B bacon
    11.5 syns
Water, Hot lemon water. Ginger and lemon tea.
  • Been on my anual girls shopping trip today, fexi day as planned. Not sure how many syns I had but this is what I've had all day:

Lunch/Supper: Cup of skinny fries, 1/3 of sub roll with salted beef, 6 chicken wings (no sauce) and some cheesy chips. Also had 1 cocktail (cherry vodka, vanilla vodka and coke), 1 vodka diet coke and 3 chocolate coins. Oh, and bowl of shredies (that can be my HEA and HEB). I'm 99% sure thats everything!

Have spent the full day walking round York carrying bags and running for trains! Exhausted now! Didn't have breakfast before we went out. Couldn't eat the sub roll because it was white bread which makes me have stomach cramps so only ate a bit. We did order what I thought was chocolate fudge cake but when it came it was more like a gatoex and I'm not keen on them so didn't eat it (I could have ate it for the sake of it but decided against it, lol). Was pleased to have a side f chicken wings!

When I got home I was too tired to cook so had cheesy chips from takeaway and 3 chocolate coins. Was still hungry so rather than reach for the crisps I had my healthy extras.

Feel like for a flexi day that wasn't too bad, especially being on my feet from 9am till 7.30pm! Long day! Could have gone a lot worse with a lot more cocktails!!

Back on plan tomorrow 100%. Will think about meals in the morning but I am at work tomorrow night so must make sure I eat before I start my shift.

    CP xx

Oh my goodness it is to be hoped she can rally a good social team to support her.
