Lunch - salad, brown rice, hard boiled eggs and a fat free yoghurt
Tea - SW chips, egg, beans

    Hea - skimmed milk
    Heb - oats

    Morning,

Seems quiet on here at the minute, pleased to report a 1 lb loss at wi last night. Was very pleased after my xmas dinner on Saturday. Got to crack on now and get the losses going.

Just after Cottage cheese on Heb Toast with Tomato and lots of black pepper. This is my favourite breakfast without doubt.

Made the stroganoff again last night. Going for an Indian on Saturday so that will be my treat for the week.

Well done love. Love the idea of cottage cheese and tomato on toast must try it.

Well done CP on sticking to plan. Just keep going one day at a time and you'll get there.

Well done Lantanna on your lb loss for this week. I'm sure going back to group was the right thing for you as it makes you more mindful of what you're eating.

TazzyB - sorry I didn't welcome you back when you posted earlier - but better late than never, eh? Can'[t remember if you went to group before and whether or not you know about the new SP plan? Only mention it because banana is now not a Speed food (the old Super Free) but just Free. Grapes are another that isn't Speed. It seems any fruit which was easy to grab when you felt peckish isn't Speed now!

Went 0.5 syns over yesterday but with the weekend I've had not too concerned! May end up booking a holiday tomorrow rather than weighing - again will decide in the morning depending on what my scales say! I don't want to weigh if I'm going to be out of target with having just over 3 weeks holiday from Friday! Will just need to deal with any gains over this week and the next 3 when I go back to Group in Janaury.

    Another EE day today:

B - mushroom omlette (all mushrooms gone now!)
L - LO prawn mayo with salad in sandwich (HEB + 1)
    D - corned beef hash (3.5)

    HEA - 100% milk
    HEB - 60g WM bread

  • +1/2LB can't believe it because I thought I'd really don well this week. Clearly I'll have to try much harder or I'll be in a right state by January.
Making SW quiche and some soup to try and get ready for the coming week.

    Well done lantanna and maisie.:T

Don't be disheartened midge. Do you keep a food diary? Sometimes syns can creep in without noticing. Yesterday I realised I'd been having Rankin soda bread for the last two weeks and it's not a HEB any more. It wouldn't take much to gain half a pound.

That's really positive news CP, hope today's equally successful. You seem to be really in the zone tazzy, full of admiration for the exercise and water.

I behaved reasonably well at the nibbly party. I avoided all sweet stuff except mango chunks and confined savoury to SW friendly except for some quiche (removed most of pastry) and one oat cracker. Could have been much, much worse. Lunch tomorrow is next hurdle but it's in a restaurant known for small portions and fresh veg so it'll probably just be the wine syns and cheeseboard to worry about.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham with fried veg (all Speed)
D: Tana Ramsay's sausage casserole (onions, leeks, cabbage, carrots, butterbeans) with new potatoes
Syns: 2 for sausages, 2? for bit of chorizo, scrape of spread

Thanks Denise, need to make a persistent effort and not fall into the trap of fluffing about with the same couple of pounds.

    Fingers crossed

Fantastic work CP, just keep going a day at a time!

    Today for me...
Breakfast - Weetabix and the bottom of the summer fruits bag so mostly currants, latte (HEB1+HEA)
Lunch - Turkey salad with cottage cheese
    Dinner - Fry up
    Snacks/Pudding - Hifi lights (HEB2), grapefruit

I seem to be unintentionally syn free today! Sure that'll change later :rotfl:

That's a nice feeling june, enjoy whatever you decide on this evening.

debjay, I don't see an HEA on your menu. What about some parmesan with your Bolognese. I find it makes all the difference.

You might be yo-yoing with that pound in the next few weeks lantanna but I'm sure you'll see progress after festive food is done with.
