Think I will persevere. Thanks Maman. Why is it ok to have 2 slices of 400g loaf but only 1 from 800g? Aren't they the same size slices? Is it any wholemeal bread? Looking at the book it mentions specific brands. Sorry for all of the questions but, for now, you guys are my group.

Hope you don't mind me answering instead of maman, but the 400g loaves are smaller sized pieces and probably thinner too from what I remember. It's the size of the nimble loaves that you can get..

Your HEB is 60g of any wholemeal bread, this includes sliced and rolls. :)

Thanks shala_moo. I'm very appreciative for any help and advice I can get. Thanks for explaining about the bread situation.

I decided to knock classes on the head while my head is not in the right place :o

I weighed at home tonight and will keep doing so - 1lb on for me but this is good cos it's two weeks since I last weighed officially and I've had a lot going on

Evening all and congratulations to SOTWs!! :j :T

Thanks to everyone for the mincemeat suggestions - the baked apple looks very tasty, definitely think I will be giving that a go over xmas!

Weighed in this evening with a 1lb loss. Pleased with this as was off plan a bit over the weekend - gives me some optimism for Christmas! One thing I need to stop doing is having a sneaky look at the scales on a Sunday evening - I'm consistently lighter on a Sunday evening than a Monday evening for some reason, which inevitably means when I weigh in on a Monday I'm slightly disappointed with my loss, when in reality I should be pleased that I've lost! Since my 4lb loss in week 1, my losses have been coming in steadily but slowly. It's a bit frustrating in some ways but at the end of the day it's all going in the right direction, and I like to think it's more likely to stay off this way than if I lost it all super quick!
  • Congratulations to BOTH the SOTW!! Well done!!:T:T:T

Well went to group as planned. I'm not sure what happened, but I wore different clothes (jeans when I usually wear leggings) and the scales are showing -1 for me please Shala. :o I just don't get it and I most certainly don't deserve it. My friends say it could be to do with my job (working 12 hours with a 1 hour break, and constantly running round the restaurant as its so busy), but I still did really bad. I'm really happy, but feel guilty!

Anyway, I've pledged this week to write my food down, go back to my syn counter and REALLY try. I had a really good prep talk tonight from the other members and I'm feeling very motivated. I'm going to take this 1 day at a time. I've pledged to get some exercise in at least 3/4 times and get a start on my silver body magic award. I think not exercising is also not helping my mood. I always feel so good once I've been to the gym. Its just making that first step and heading back in.

I've got a long road ahead of me, but feeling much better today. Much MUCH better.

I have a free morning tomorrow. I may just dig my gym stuff out before I go to bed.

Love and hugs to all struggling, and a massive well done to the losers and sts'ers. Lets keep plodding along guys.

    CP xx

  • Hi all

I just wanted to post quickly and say that I am around. My OH had a medical issue come up & some advancements in an issue he's had for a while so we've had appointments nearly everyday. We live in a sort of rural area so that means that an hour appointment ends up using the whole day up as the wait for buses is always long! We leave in the morning and come back in the late afternoon. I can't wait till we have a quiet week :(

In better news, I've lost 2kgs of the 6 that I put on although I'm worried I'll be putting them back on before the end of the week. It's the week of my dad's birthday & I am not looking forward to it  Friday will be a very tough day.

I'm hoping I'll be around more often next week :o Also want to say a huge thank you to beanielou  I received the books. Thank you so much. I'm so sorry I've taken so long to let you know :o they've been a huge help!
