Did the therapist give you any strategies to use to try to avoid bingeing, like the distraction technique which is very useful for giving up smoking?

As expected, a disappointing 1lb loss this week. It's made me really mopey, so currently drowning my sorrows in a massive but syn free hazelnut latte. Darn star week!
EE today...
Breakfast - Benefit bar (1/2 HEB) and fruit at group
Lunch - Need to poke around the fridge, it's use up leftovers day. I know there's some mash in there as I made too much for just DH the other night, so maybe a bubble and squeak type creation.
Dinner - Hunter's chicken, chips and veg
Pudding - Hifi Light (1/2 HEB)
HEA on the latte. Syns will definitely get used today too!
And not impressed by the benefit bars. Bought a box earlier in the week as I was running dangerously low on HiFis. Restocked this morning, thank goodness. I don't think I could ever give up going to group, I need my proper bars! :rotfl:0 -

L: mushroom omelette, pickled cabbageburger, SW chips, fried onions, tomato, mushrooms, peas

Stopping back in quickly to say minimins has reopened! I went there today to read back on some old threads and noticed new postings. It's definitely a reopen (there's an announcement) rather than people stumbling across unlocked threads.
Not sure if anyone else already spotted this, but don't think I remember reading that.0 -
Hi ladies  hope everyone's well...
i'm really struggling to stay on track at the moment so I've been hiding awaydecided to just try and stay a stable weight up till Xmas so meals where I can be good I am and then I just let myself down again when I face-plant chocolates/cakes/crisps
I have many excuses (work, stress, etc) but at the end of the day i'm choosing to let myself go astray
it's kind of fine, in the sense I've made my peace with it. Anyway...
Well done to all the losers:j you have my admiration for losing weight, at any time of the year, but more so in December as there are so many temptations!
CP - sorry you're having a rubbish time of it xxDoes anyone else have reverse Body Dysmorphia Syndrome where in your head you look amazing then you catch sight of yourself in a mirror and realise you look a total state?? I always think I'm more attractive than I actually am :rotfl:
I have it, I call it denial...as long as I don't see any mirrors or photos then i'm a stunner!! :rotfl:
I've collected everyone's results for this week, you've all lost 18.5lbs so far (7 stone cumulative :j) you're all blo0dy brilliant

Been to group today and was disappointed as had a 1lb gain. I don't know if this was due to scales, as when I got there the scales weren't working, so we had to wait for the consultant cover person to bring another set.
Anyway, I have been good this week, sticking to plan. But yesterday a water infection manifested itself, was in really bad pain and began to pass blood. Doctor said cystitis, got prescribed some antibiotics, feel a bit better today. Mentioned it all to consultant today and she said it could be down to water retention.
Am now 2lb off my 2.5 stone award.
Consultant did say though not to think about this too much and concentrate on getting better.
It's also difficult as well because of the time of year, when everyone around you is eating crap. :eek:Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670
