Well done Lantanna, I did the same thing this time last year, over two stones heavier then! I didn't lose for a couple of weeks, because of Christmas, but I wanted to be heading for the zone and not as crazy as I could be. It made sense to me anyway!
I'll be trying to lose over Christmas this year, but will relax at times and enjoy a few naughties - just less than I am used to!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Our consultant spoke about Chirstmas last night, and said there were 3 approaches you could choose from. 1, go completely off plan and face the scales when you get back. 2, Flexi syn on which ever days you choose, and try to stay on plan the rest to help with damage limitation or 3, stay on plan. She says most people opt for option 2, and select 3 days over the festive period.

Thank you. How do I join? What do I need to post? I've lost 5lbs in my first 2 weeks and weigh in on a Friday. I'd like to lose 6lbs by Xmas.
That's it - i'll add your mini target as 6lbs and you just let me know what you've lost on Friday and I'll pop it on.. good luck x
Just had a quick skim read as I've just walked in the door from worksome brilliant losses :T:T
Good luck at your new class Lantanna..

STS again for me this week please Shala.
A bit disappointed as its another week without getting off my holiday gain but to be honest it might be better than I deserve as been off plan quite a bit. Going to try to use this as a kick up the bum to try to lose the holiday gain before Christmas so I can start January with a clean slate.0 -
Well done Tulip that's fantastic you must be so pleased!:T plus well done to everyone else posting losses. You are all giving me motivation to try hard this week.
Good luck at the new class Lantana, I hope it's busier than mine was. There were only 4 of us so we all weighed and went rather than staying for group. I understand wanting to get back into things before Christmas. That's what i need to do and get my mind in gear so I don't continue to let things slide before Christmas.0 -
Hi all
Thanks for the chart Shala and well done to the multi joint SOTW :T
Well, yesterday's festive lunch was very enjoyable, I made 3 courses disappear and managed a mince pie as well.Fortunately I didn't need to eat again for the rest of the day. Today was an on plan day but we're eating out again tomorrow, no idea where or what, but I'm driving so no wine Syns will be consumed.
Interesting to read the discussion about planning for Christmas. I've been known to gain half a stone over Christmas when I've not stuck to plan, and managed a loss when I stuck to plan, but have to say it spoils Christmas, so my advice would be to relax a little and aim to maintain.

I'm also interested reading about people's approaches to Christmas. Like Lois Lane I'm going to attempt to find the middle ground between giving myself some leeway and enjoying it but not putting on too much and relaxing so much I have a large gain to try to combat. I will see how I get on as middle ground is often my problem, I can be an all or nothing person!0
