Thanks I will let you know how I get on.

Now is a good time for me to grab the bull by the horns as such.

Work is relatively quiet for the next month, financially things are a little brighter, new freezer on the way and I'm over my tummy bug.

So the 1st of December seems like a good day to me to restart at group. I'm committing to going til I get to target, whether I like it or not ...............:rotfl:

I'm scared if wait until after Christmas I'll be buying bigger sizes. Having went down the sizes I def don't want to go back up them, nor can I afford too.:rotfl:

Well done to all and my fellow SOTW:j I feel very special. :rotfl:

2 lbs off for me Shala and do I feel lucky to have got there as this week was far from brilliant when it came to eating the SW way shall we say - there were lots of little bits and bobs that found their way into my gob that shouldn't. I had a Greggs sausage roll the other day (19!!!! syns) and the only good thing about it was that I really didn't enjoy it so won't be tempted again but it was that type of week...so I'll just draw a veil over the kitkat, the cookie and so on.

A question for you all - what is your thinking about Christmas? I'll be away for most of it so lacking in control of how food is cooked and there will be tons of sweeties and the like and since the one thing I can't resist is temptation I was thinking of just throwing in the towel for those 3 days But and this is the big but, how much damage will that do?? Any thoughts?

My consultant said to approach it as how would you feel going to weigh-in after and gaining X lbs? If you're happy with that trade-off to be in the Christmas spirit, and know you'll get straight back on plan on the 27th, go for it and enjoy yourself. But if any gain would derail you, make a plan to avoid the temptations now.

For me, I only have one meal (Christmas lunch itself) that's out of my control. So I'm honestly not that worried about it, one meal won't make much dent on the rest of the week. I don't get weighed after until 2nd Jan so plenty of time to work it off even if I do indulge a bit more than I expect to!

You don't actually need to exercise to lose weight with SW - I got to target without exercise and Maman, I think, also didn't exercise to get to target.

Absolutely. I think exercise is good for toning and feel good factor but it's what you eat (and drink:o) that makes the biggest difference to weightloss.
Good luck Lantanna!! Let us know how you get on!

Oh yes please, hope the consultant is good.:)

I'm still doing a fair bit of SP but having rice (measured portion)this evening.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
    L: lentil and veg soup
D: chicken stir fry (carrots, spring onions, peppers, mushrooms, cabbage, mange tout) with rice
Syns: squirt of syrup, tbsp. honey in stir fry

    - 3lbs for me this week please Shala. Been working hard, but feel very hungry at the moment in spite of eating lots of SW friendly stuff. It might be because I'm experimenting with reducing carbs, and that historically has always made me very hungry.
