  • Well done to all our slimmers of the week. :T

I am due to weigh in at my usual group tomorrow night but not expecting much. Still of the rails at the moment and need to give myself a firm talking to! Hugs to anyone else struggling. Maybe the weigh in will help me focus.

  • Morning all and what a wet horrible one it is!

Well done to my fellow SOTWs :T it's been a while since I had a loss 2 weeks running, hoping to keep up the good work

Tete - I can't take credit for this as I pinched it off instagram. But cherry bakewell rice pudding is made with pudding rice or I guess you could use normal or brown if you wanted (I used 200g as I wanted to make a big batch) cooked as you normally cook rice in a pan with boiling water and then finished off with milk from hexa allowance. Once cooked added frozen cherries and some almond extract and sweetener. It was really nice and filling and means you can save your hexb for later. The 200g of rice ended up making 4 big bowlfuls for me which has lasted a couple of days. I'm hoping the pudding rice and extract are syn free or I've had a big oversight :D

I wasn't feeling too well last night, ended up only eating an apple for tea and being in bed by 8pm feeling dizzy and sick. No idea what caused that but a huge sleep did me the world of good.

    So today's food:
B - puffed wheat with banana, followed by a satsuma and persimmon around 11am after I'm back from walking the dog
L - SW tomato & basil soup (I've yet to try this one it's been in my freezer for a while)
T - chicken in black bean sauce with cous cous and veg, if I'm well enough to eat it this time!

Have a good one everyone :)

Well done to all the SOTWs - it's amazing that there are so many with the same weight loss this week! All those pounds are adding up!

Horrible day here - the forecast looked promising but it's grey, miserable and drizzly; rain was supposed to have passed by now but no sign of it drying up. Looks like the washing will have to go in the tumble dryer again.

    SP day for me:

B - bacon omlette; peach (was going to have mushroom omlette but have run out of mushrooms - have now added to my shopping list!)
L - tuna mayo & salad sandwich (also needed to add lettuce to my shopping list)
D - LO rabbit stew, so plenty of Speed foods in that. Will also make some mashed celeriac rather than potato as DH doesn't miss the potato when we have celeriac, in fact I sometimes think he prefers it!

Keeping syns low today as had an extra 3 unplanned syns last night (2 Cadbury chocolate fingers @ 1.5 each). By only having the mayo (2 syns) means I can also have a couple of choc fingers tonight if I want them!

Good morning everyone, well done to all the losers, and the multi SOTW :T.

Had a good week this week, had HM soup several times which helped with the lunch choices. Hi there Shala, I'd like to report a loss of -3.0 lbs this week. Really pleased with this as it is getting into the silly season.

Found out yesterday that I will need a procedure which will severely restrict my movement for several months. This started me thinking, (and please I don't wish to sound patronising), how do people with these limitations lose weight if exercise is more difficult? I think I'm going to have to be very careful that this does not impact too much on any losses I have managed.

I hope everyone has a good week and for those that are struggling, I hope things get better soon.

  • I've had no internet for almost a week! Loads to try and catch up on. Also recovering from a kidney infection.... Last time I was here I had eaten 2 selection boxes. I then continued to have another couple of bad days before giving myself a good talking to (couldn't get online to get motivated here). Anyway, went to group last night and its a +1 gain please Shala! The way I look at it, it could have been a lot worse. Especially as I've got an infection.

Back fully 100%. Want to loose 2lb next week to get my stone award back with an extra 1lb loss. I'm going to get back to do some exercise at the gym as I think that is what is affecting my mood. I couldn't go for so long due to the pleurisy that I have totally got out of the habit now. Going to try and go tonight. I think making the first step in the hardest. I won't be going hard due to my kidney so probably just a swim as its not weight baring.

Congratulations to all the sotw! Sorry I haven't read back yet (loads of pages after 5/6 days away)...... Hope everyone is well and I haven't missed too much.

    CP xx
