    Ok

Is it true SW will only put your account on hold if you are ill but had a stay in hospital? . But I went on the scales this morning by accident and put on another 1.5lb, since yesterday. Thanks for nothing tonsillitis and antibiotics. Just past the halfway period of the course.

I have holidays left to book, but I need those weeks - only book 1 week beforehand. I don't want to be spending £5 a week on getting heavier for things outside my control. Struggling to eat the full food optimizing plan too.

From your experience, have any of you had their account on hold for being ill without hospitalisation?

    Today's plan:

B wm pitta bread with 2 scrambled eggs done in frylight (I think the pitta bread has to be synned now and will be anyway as I'm having brazil nuts)

    S 2 clementines, 3 brazil nuts

L broccoli, small sweet potato cut in wedges and done in actifry with frylight, 1 fish sensations portion (no idea about syns, but it's low in everything - the lemon herby one without a coating. I have a few of these as they were on offer and my mum bought them for me!)

D Portion of Turkey mince slow cooker bolognaise made with 1 pack of thigh and 1 pack of breast mixed, fry light, onions, mung beans, 2 x tinned tomatoes, tinned mushrooms, Bovril stock with runner beans and wholegrain basmati rice

    S 2 Clementines, 3 brazil nuts

I don't follow SW exactly so some things I will include are a bit off plan but I also keep an eye on calories. I think today's isn't so bad as long as those fish sensations aren't scarily high in syns!

Edit : I think I need some of those giant sprouts, I love 'em!

The lemony fish sensations are Free so no syns there. You're right about needing to syn the pitta breads. I don't think any of them are HEB now.

JPSCloud and Tete - you are both not self centred/self absorbed! you have big things going on in your lives at the moment and if you want to come on here and share your thoughts then go ahead.. if it helps you both work things out then i'm happy we can help!! Big hugs to you both xx

JPS - I've put your result on the chart, you only missed last week so I've still got you! :D The guy on the BBC program Doctor in the House last week had type 2, not sure if it would help watching that to show you what the doctor recommended to him to eat. A lot of it seemed to be focussed around fresh foods and protein, a bit SP or red days (if you remember them) rather than having the more carb heavy foods.. hope you can get as much info off the nurse as you need x

Tete - maybe try and maintain at the moment rather than putting yourself under pressure to lose more.. stick to SW the days you can and the days you cant, either pick something healthish or something you'd really enjoy, enjoy it and move on.

The things I find freeze well are lasagne, cottage/shepherds pie, pulled pork, pulled chicken, all sorts of stews/casseroles, meatloaf, meatballs, marinaded chicken, chilli, HM burgers, and meat dishes really.. although rice and pasta freeze well too.. how big is your freezer? :p

For work lunches I try and have pasta bakes, potato skins, meatballs, and chicken bits already frozen.. have a bit of salad with it and it's quite a nice lunch.
