Someone just dumped a packet of walkers pickled onion on my desk and said there you go, I literally jumped out of my seat ran after them and said nooooo take them away their naughty lol :rotfl:
I love them but I hadn't planned for it and I'm tried to be good until Christmas so no!!!
Eating actual picked onions is better and they are a speed food too.. Though colleagues will give you odd looks if you eat a jar of them at your deskThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
This cold seems here to stay. Managed to leave the house today for some fresh air but was exhausted after what would normally be a short walk for me. No idea what this will do for weigh in as I basically have barely been able to move all week now.
Today's food...
Breakfast - Weetabix and berries (1/2 HEA+HEB1)
Lunch - Chicken, cheese and salad (1/2 HEA)
Snack - Strawberries and quark
Dinner was meal planned to be fish but that sounds like the worst thing in the world right now. So not too sure what to do, might have to have a rummage in the freezer for an alternative. Most likely SW-friendly sausages. Same sides though, butternut squash and green beans.
HEB2 will be HiFi Lights for pudding.0 -
Evening
What a shame for that lady lantanna, it's so easy to take your eye off the ball and the weight just comes surging back onglad it's made you feel better about being able to control what you could this year. You did really well considering the pain you've been in..
Hope you've had a better day today CP xx
Matron - I've changed your target, you're not a pain
:rotfl: @ clean jeans day maman, I hate that day!! Worse still is the day after Xmas you have to go back to work and put your work trousers on after gaining half a stone!
Hope the poorlies feel better soon xx
Scarlet, give your body chance to heal rather than concentrating on losing weight. You seem to be sticking to quite healthy foods when you are eating so you should see a loss once you are well again. As you say the tablets might not be helping, and are you drinking plenty of water?
:rotfl: at the pickled onion crisps - I've completely ignored the clotted cream and scones someone's bought in today, my friend was trying to make me have half with her and I said no! why do people keep trying to feed us all!!!
Just made myself a lovely on plan cottage pie  OH doesn't like it particularly so we don't have it a lot. Might make myself a few smaller ones for lunch portions then OH won't need to eat it and i'll have a lovely, warm filling lunch option :T
Don't forget - Doctor in the House is on tonight at 9pm :T:T

Hi all, slinking back in with my tail between my legs. Went off on my holiday to Spain and ate everything in sight, tapas, sangria, cheese, beer, bread etc... You get the picture, had a great time but now back I've struggled to get back on plan. Even after going to weigh in and seeing the damage I came up with the excuses and am now suffering a chest infection and feeling out of sorts. Need to get back into the healthy stuff so I don't slide back completely between now and Christmas especially as I know once I get into it I'll feel better!
Shala for w/c 9th I'm STS, w/c 16th plus 3 pounds (holiday damage!!) and this week is also STS (failing to get bum in gear to undo holiday damage).
Now I've confessed my sins (syns) I'm hoping that is enough to help me get my head in gear so I can lose some of the holiday gain next week and start getting more towards my goal for this challenge overall. I also need to try to focus as much as possible in December a month I always struggle in as my work means lots of meals out and parties and hard to keep on track.
Hope everyone is doing better than me and you are all well. The thread has moved on so much since I was here last so now I'm going to read back and catch up with everyone.0 -
Hi Everyone,
I have lost 2 and a half poundsfollowing plan ok and eating lots of fruit etc when hungry.Got some christmas parties also soon so going to have a nice time and not worry too much re what I will be eating.
I watched Gp behind closed doors last night and was delighted when I heard a doctor suggest Slimming World to a patient.

Back again after reading through most of what I missed while I was gone. Jotted down a few meal ideas so thanks everyone.
I have to say some of the talk about comfort/emotional eating really hit home and made me look hard at my habits. Going to try to pause before consuming anything non planned and see if I can try to think about why I want/crave something before giving in. Definitely food for thought if you pardon the pun!
Now I've caught up and posted I'm going to try to see if I can stay on plan. Good luck for the coming weekend everyone. I've booked some gym classes to keep me in a good frame of mind hope I like them!!0 -
I think I might have accidentally reported a post as spam not sure whose now. Still getting used to this forum on my iPad. Not sure I should be near technology sometimes so apologies if that was you!! I'll get there sometime!0
