I've had this and the beetroot one! Prefer the beetroot so much so I too have made my own. It's now pickling away in cider vinegar. I like these pots as although they're pickled it's not as harsh as jars of pickles. I can make a pot last a week too!
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Some good losses coming in...:T

Hope the poorlies are feeling better, maisie, lantanna, Lois and anyone else I've missed xxx Did the dentist fix you Lois? (cross posted as I took so long to write this post :D, glad you've got an answer, hope the antibiotics kick in soon x)

    Congrats on your shiney CP:T:j:T

BEG - new number :j:j you've done amazingly..

Did some HIIT stuff at the gym last night, the exercise that the Doctor recommended on Doctor in your House, it was ok. Alternated between a slow run and walking, more enjoyable than just going at once pace for 30 minutes, it felt like the time went quicker as you spend most of it changing the speed settings on the treadmill :D no time for getting bored!

    'See' you all tomorrow xxx

I have only ever been using the EE plan as I only joined in August.

Am making the butternut squash soup tonight as I don't have the onion at the moment! What would you suggest having with it, I would usually have bread/toast, but if I've already have my healthy extra B for the day, what would you suggest please? I will probably take it to work tomorrow for my lunch.

Am hoping for at least a 2.5lb loss this week as I need that for my 2.5 stone. (I weigh in on a Saturday morning).

That's what I've been doing on the treadmill Shala for the last few months. I enjoy it, cant wait to get back to the gym once this bug has finally gone.

Sorry to hear about the abscess Lois, at least you know what it is and can get it treated now.

Hopefully we will all get all these ailments out of the way for Christmas! So we can all have a nice relaxing time!

Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Lantanna I'm 36 too, I don't understand why it's so hard just to meet a decent bloke, most of my friends are in long term relationships so they managed it ok! Anyway I'm not going to harp on, I'm sick of it.

Mum text me last night, Gran is home from hospital. She hasn't given me any more info so I'm guessing she still needs to catch up with the doctors about palliative care.

I've been a bit preoccupied with everything this week, work is very stressful too and I'm just about to start 6 weeks of night shifts so hopefully next week will see a routine established again, I've not done a food diary this week and I'm a bit lost without it so I'll start afresh tomorrow after WI!

Need to do another online saino's order so I know what I'm doing next week but it'll probably be batch cooking chicken and veg again as that worked for me the first 2 weeks.

    Today:
B: last box of batch cooked SW Festive Pork Hotpot, toffee mullerlight
    L: rice salad
D: not sure, I'll be at work and I'll be busy, probably just 2 hifi bars (HeB), an apple and another mullerlight.
    HeA milk in tea
Syns: mayo light 2, apple sauce 1, rice 1.5

The Festive Pork Hotpot was ok but I probably won't make it again, I added parsnip to it to use them up and it was fine... I think I might have problems digesting pork though, I'll give it a miss for a while!

I've probably drunk my weeks allowance in wine syns so we'll see what the scales say tomorrow morning at weigh in!

Anyone else doing night shifts? How do you track your meals?! Sometimes I confuse myself and dunno which day to log my meal under!

Hugs to everyone that needs them, congrats to the losers :)

  • Morning everyone! Been busy last few days. Had an Italian meal out. Tried the light pizza option which was really nice. DH went to cinema yesterday for our wedding anniversary. Took some preportioned popcorn so hopefully there shouldn't be too much damage at weigh in on Saturday!

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done to SOTW!:j

    Menu today:

    B - 1 x hifi, clementine, activia
    S - 1 x hifi (HEB), Kitkat (5.5), banana
L - Veg soup, possibly mugshot if very hungry
D - Chicken chow mein (0.5 I think, must check!), FF greek yoghurt, raspberries
    E - popcorn? jelly?, ricecakes?
  • Morning everyone

Checking in with a 2.5lb loss today :j Well done to dillon on SOTW and everyone else with losses :T and thank you shala as always for the chart

I checked my BMI today on the SW app and according to that I'm now a healthy weight - but only just! It's been a ridiculously long time since I was anything but overweight (or obese when I started SW) so it's great to see there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I reckon I'm about 11 lbs now from what I'd call my 'happy weight'. Once I'm there I'll be working hard on toning up, I've still got a jelly belly and wobbly thighs and legs which I'm not happy with, who knows whether I'll ever be happy with what I see in the mirror :rotfl: but it's good to know I'm getting healthier at least :D Have been gifted a cross trainer so I'm popping on that for half an hour every other day, plus doing some lunges and squats to try and tone up the wobble :p

I've got my yearly appraisal at work today yurgh. Have promised myself a little non-food treat afterwards if my feedback is good. I've got my eye on a Yankee Candle advent calendar from Boots which I think I'll treat myself to as it's payday. Not sure I could cope with having 24 little chocs in my house, the temptation would be too much.

CP - you're only human! I do the exact same thing if I've had a bad day or had bad news, or argued with someone ...the list is endless. Don't be too hard on yourself, life's got a habit of throwing us a few curve balls every now and then. Hope you can get back on track soon xx

    Today's food:

B - porridge with jam and chopped banana
L - chicken tikka subway salad with sweet onion sauce
T - sticky chicken with stir fry veggies

I've never made sticky chicken before but keep seeing it all over instagram, so I'm quite excited to try something new.

    Have a fab Wednesday everyone
