Well done losers congrats to SOTW. My loss this week is a very small -1/4 lb.
I often find that when I've had a good loss one week then the next can be hit and miss.

Gym membership starts next week, and I've booked some classes to see which ones are for me (if any :rotfl:). I hope this will eventually make the difference.

Thank you Shala for the chart.

    Hi all

have reported the post above Arkers as spam - totally random!!!

Anyway sorry not been around for a while as totally lost the plot. family have been ill, I have been ill and it has been so hectic as well. But back into it again starting today.

Shala can you pop me down for 1.5lbs lost in week 2, 0.5 lbs lost in week 3 and a sts this week as I am not going to group tonight as I am shattered.

Congrats to everyone who has lost. There have been some fantastic losses. Well done also to those who have new shiney's or are seeing the next stone bracket.

Also a huge well done to those who have sts or gained as you are still here and trying and that can be so difficult.

DH and I have had a huge cook up at the weekend and made chilli, spag bol, goulash and cottage pie filling which are now all portioned and frozen. I am going to do a madras beef curry and a beef bourginion this weekend but am a bit stumped for some freezable chicken dishes. tend to do them fresh as chicken doesn't take that long to cook normally.

Maisie - I'm a bit like you when it comes to freezing chicken dishes as don't generally batch cook it. However when we have a roast chicken I'll use the LOs to make curry, sweet & sour or tagine, the only one I don't freeze is the sweet & sour as not sure whether it would freeze well so generally do that first and make either curry or tagine, or both if I've bought a bigger chicken than usual!

Carcass then gets turned into stock and then use that to make some chicken & veg soup, which again freezes well.

I'm sure there are other things you can do with chicken to freeze but it's not something I do very often, as you say it's quick to cook anyway.

    Denise

PS I've also reported that random post as Spam.

Counting Pennies, send your DH to me she can come and tidy my room if she is feeling like it! ;)
Lois, I never did Red or Green days, it wasn’t promoted when I joined. I used to always mean to have a look at the green days so that’s disappointing. :o
I’ve found my tastes have changed massively since having my GB out and I am wanting to eat a lot less meat / poultry / fish than I used too. For example for 36 years I’ve been a crisps person, now I’m a chocolate person. All very strange. I ‘d nearly go vegetarian again but then its trying to get enough protein and not overload on carbs. I was a vegetarian for 4 years and relied on carbs too much and hence put on weight. I can’t eat quorn products either : ( as they play havoc with my digestive system. :(
Its hard at times isn’t it, trying to work out how much of things you should be eating and trying to follow all the guidelines on a budget.
We had some snow over the weekend as well.
Sometimes Lois your teeth are sore and they can find nothing physically wrong with them. It is so annoying. It happens to me and my Mum. I grind my teeth and have sensitive teeth at times too. It seems to flare up for a week or so and I feel like I need a mouth full of fillings. I go to the Dentist and its just the sensitivity and it goes away again. Pain and stress sometimes manifests itself in peoples mouths as well. Hopefully you get further with your Spanish Dentist.
Well done Tete, you are brave out hiking / running in this weather!! And good work on the Chinese too!
B17c that sounds like something that would happen to me! I’m 36 and I’ve pretty much given up with men! The ones that like me I don’t like and they freak me out by being too full on! and the one I did really like wasn’t bothered! It’s a minefield! And as for the attached ones, I have one that I used to work with message me every so often in the middle of the night on FB when he’s drunk clearly and his wife is in bed sleeping!!! I just ignore him so not sure why he keeps doing it! In a previous job my married boss tortured me day and night. Some of them just can’t be helped! I know I will have to tackle it again but right now I just can’t be bothered. But I know that there will be some other little idiot out there just perfect for me and its just a matter of finding them. I really admire Meg:T, she just keeps going until she finds what she wants and doesn’t let the ones who turn out to be a letdown disappoint her. That’s my prob I get hurt easily and take things too heart!! As Lois says there are good men about, its just uncovering them seems to be the problem for some. The arrival of my little niece has got me thinking about it all again. I don't want to look back with regrets. Over the years I have wasted too much of my time on the wrong men. :(
Maman, I’ve not been posting coz I’ve been off on the tummy bug plan!  Over the worst now, just tired and sore. Was not pleasant at all but heading out of it now. You forget how bad a bug is until you get one haven’t been sick like that in years.
I’m thinking, soup, baked potatoes, omelettes for the rest of the week whilst my stomach recovers. Yesterday I managed toast and that was it so I’ll see how I get on.
Interesting Smedley, let us know how you get on. I plateau for lengthy periods of time. I guess I’m sort of used to it now. It does always come good in the end.
    Romping to target BEG!!! :T
Sorry for such a long post, just had a big catch up off for another few hours sleep now .

Good luck for WI CP. I think you probably will have had 50% Speed across the day but do you have any Speed veg to go with those peas tonight? A very quick veg that I do is to soften a chopped onion in the microwave, fry it up a bit then add a tin of peas and carrots and heat through. So 3 veg and 2 are Speed with minimal effort.

I wish I ate more veg, but unfortunately not :rotfl: However I did manage to loose my 1lb and got my stone award so I'm really happy with that especially after going off plan at the weekend.

So that is -1lb for the chart please Shala.... Also thanks for the chart this week. Hope you enjoyed the Walking Dead!

Lantanna I do hope your feeling better!

    Congratulations to Dillon on SOTW!

Well done to the losers and sts'ers and hugs to those gainers.

Currently lying in bed (10.15am) so need to get up! Had to go back to bed for an hour this morning :o

Todays menu should go like this.....

Breakfast/Brunch  Salmon (need to use up remaining) on wholemeal (HEB) with beetroot, pickles, satsumas and grapes.

Tea: Jacket potato with beans and cheese (Finally having HEA)

Snacks/Syns: Curly wurly (6), fruit, will see how the day goes before I write anything else :rotfl:

    Have a good day everyone!

    Morning all :)

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Dillon for SOTW. :T

Meg - I tried the pink slaw and wasn't that keen - it lacks something (probably Mayo!) - and its quite a small container, not worth the money IMO.

Lantanna - a few people have told me they have the same thing with their sensitive teeth, but the glands are up on that side of my face so I'm convinced there's something else going on. My appointment is in an hour so I'll find out more then.

Beg - pleased to hear your Mum is home and on the mend, she's lucky to have you. And well done for the new number on the scales. :j

That lemon drizzle cake looks nice, and Tete en l'air's melting middle cake has got me fancying something naughty but nice. Good job Spanish cakes aren't great!

    Have a good day everyone.

Good to hear from you again smedley but sorry to hear you're still stuck on that plateau. It'll be interesting to hear how you get on with your plan. Do report back.

    Thanks all,
I just thought it was important to discuss these experiences. SW don't give adequate advice on this plateau subject, even when writing to them, I am sure when they hear the word 'plateau', SW put their fingers in their ears and shout loudly: "la la la la la la la!".

I am realistic, and I know my body is doing whatever it thinks is correct, my body is simply happy at the moment; furthermore I am happy with the overall loss.

My idea behind the break, is to try and get my body in a food metabolism state before SW, by eating more off plan.
I am hoping that when I start SW again in 2 months I might be able to continue losing like I did before the plateau, it kind of makes sense to me at the moment.
This may all be unnecessary, my body might start losing on its own, when it's good and ready. I also see this as a way to socialise over Xmas without being SW conscious, this is my present for religiously following the plan all these months.
I will let you know when I start losing again.
