Morning everyone
Today's food:
B - overnight oats with strawberries and banana
L - SW pea & mint soup (might dunk some bread in but will see how hungry I feel later)
T - SW burger and chips with some sort of veg (not sure what I have in the way of frozen veg I'll have to have a look)
Syns (if any) to be decided - I'm in my overdraft on the syn bank this week  so trying to keep it as low as possible until Wed
Snacking on carrot sticks today and what's left of my fruit bowl if I get peckish
Have a great day everyone and keep warm it's icy cold out there!0 -
Hello all,
Hope you have all had a great weekend and well done to all the losers.
I've been quiet for a few days as have been struggling mentally/emotionally and haven't always managed to stick to SW. I've been very naughty on and off. Was hoping for an STS today but was totally shocked that I've actually lost 2lbs this week. The days when I have been good must have made up for it. Either that or my scales are wonky. That's half a stone off and 3 more to go for the challenge.
Just need to curb this desire to be naughty.0 -

Hugs love, sorry you are struggling, great result on 2lbs off so you must be doing something right. Try not to think y0u are being naughty when you cant manage to stick to plan as sometimes life has other ideas and its only human to slip up sometimes. Try if you can to believe that you can and will do this even if its taking longer than you would like. Its a plan for life and you WILL succeed in the end.Slimming World at target0 -

Thanks so much Meg! What a lovely post, you are a very kind person :A
You are right, I need to stop labelling it as "naughty". I am eating on emotions and I need to figure out how to stop doing that.
I will do my best to stick to SW this week. Dinner yesterday (slow roasted minted lamb, hotot potatoes, swede and carrot mash and saut!ed cabbage and leek) was amazing and only 1 syn, so knowing I can have something indulgent like that on SW helps me feel less restricted. Got a nice dinner planned again today (spiced chicken, aubergine and potato and lentils with salad) so hopefully will stick to plan. Probably vegetable soup for lunch as got a big bag of veggie soup mix.0 -
Back on the plan 100% today ready for weigh in tonight after my horrendous weekend!
Breakfast: Fruit
Lunch: Salmon on a whole meal roll (HEB), beetroot, pickles and satsumas (very random I know)
Tea/Supper: Late one after SW but will be pork medallions, sw roast potatoes, peas, gravy and a yorkshire pudding.
Syns: Gravy, yorkshire pudding, hi-fi bar and hopefully thats it!

Awww bless love, this in my opinion is the beauty of Shalas thread, we are all kind to each other on here, no one judges, we are all or have been in the same dark place at times and can share thoughts, rants or just plain bloody mindness if we feel the need. Glad my post has helped a bit I just see it as paying back a bit of the help and support I have received, would never have got to target by just going to group, you don't get the emotional support there that you get here lol yes we all eat on emotions. Enjoy your dinner , post whatever, whenever and just believe it will eventually happen for you.Slimming World at target0 -
:T to lois and MI on your losses.miss_independent wrote: »Thanks so much Meg! What a lovely post, you are a very kind person :A
And so say all of us!!!:T
MI, so sorry to hear you've been stressed this weekend but do try and turn to either delicious SW food (as you've proved) or have a non-food treat like a restful bath or a walk rather than eat rubbish. I know it's easier said than done but like meg said you'll get there and it will happen for you.
Good luck for WI CP. I think you probably will have had 50% Speed across the day but do you have any Speed veg to go with those peas tonight? A very quick veg that I do is to soften a chopped onion in the microwave, fry it up a bit then add a tin of peas and carrots and heat through. So 3 veg and 2 are Speed with minimal effort.
I was up and out early this morning so not spending too long cooking.
EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, scrambled eggs, HEB toast
L: ham with fried LO vegSW chilli (inc. onion, carrot, peppers, celery, tomatoes) with rice and cottage cheese
Syns: maybe square of choc when I get back from dancing.0 -
Afternoon everyone
Sorry I have been quiet this week but I have been trying to read. Mum came home from hospital last Thursday and I have moved in with her until she gets back on her feet. She's doing amazingly well considering its just over two weeks since she had her hip op.
My consultant has said that if I go to get weighed tonight, she will put me through first and then I can get away early. She is a gem. I seem to be surrounded by bickies, choccies and plenty of other naughties here but I think I have managed to duck from most temptations.
Discovered last night that the Lidl Gingerbread Rounds are only 6.5 syns:rotfl:
Will try and report back later with tonights result.

1/2 lb gain for me please Shala.
Seem to have lost my mojo a bit at the moment - had a few days out last week (which is fine as it was we were staycationing); however a sore Achilles means no running at the moment and I've got three days down at my Aunts later in the week so am struggling to get back into the SW swing of things.
Hopefully next week will be better!0 -
Hi all,
Leg is a bit better today, but still quite tender. Really annoying as it's been so lovely out, would have quite fancied a long walk. I don't mind the temperature when it's clear like that.
Food today. Am having 2 HEAs in line with the book guidance on longer term SP use...
Breakfast - Weetabix with berries and a gingerbread latte (HEB1, HEA1, 1 syn)
Lunch - The leftover chicken and salad from yesterday (1 syn dressing)
Snack - HB egg, apple and cheese (HEA2)
Dinner - Chilli con carne served on spinach instead of rice
Pudding - Lemon drizzle cake (1/2 syn) with strawberries and quark. Hifi(s) (HEB2)0
