I am pretty sure my tonsillitis has flared up again after 3-4 days break. Even worse this time

I find swallowing very painful esp with hot things, as struggled with some hm soup.

How to increase my speed? Any ideas.

3lb off this week Shala, which gave me my stone shiny! :j

    EE menu today...

Breakfast - Banana and hifi (HEB) at group
Lunch - Was out as mentioned yesterday. Went for the most sensible option (chicken and vegetables) but obviously not prepared in the SW way. The syns I'd saved up should have easily covered it though, as it was not greasy and I got the sauce on the side.
Dinner - Jacket potato using leftover pizza toppings (HEA) and a salad

ScarletMarble - I'd try some of the softer fruits. Maybe crush them a bit if it helps. I'd even say to try some smoothies, and not syn like like you're supposed to. A bit of rule bending when you're ill is OK in my book - better to have something nutritious in a less than perfect form than be in pain.

Evening all. Such a cold day today - took me a while to defrost my car this morning, think winter is definitely here *brrr*

    Todays menu:
    B: bran flakes (heB), raspberries
L: nandos butterfly chicken(3), spicy rice(2), corn on cob, peri peri sauce (0.5)
    D: egg and SW chips
S: 2 apples, plum, costa skinny cappuccino (3), milk (heA)

Not enough speed foods today - will try and snack on fruit this evening. Thinking of getting the slow cooker out tomorrow - not used it in ages and fancy making something nice and warming in this weather!!
  • Hello all, I went out for my run earlier but it ended up being more of a hike/jog in a horizontal snow blizzard. Still, eight miles covered so not bad going.

    Middle-of-night - warm milk w/ 1 sugar as I couldn't sleep for the wind (6)
    B - Porridge (A + B), choc shot (2)
D - Jacket potato with beans and cheese (6), salad. Butterfly cake (6)
T - SW chicken sausages, hash browns (4), mushrooms and tomatoes
Later - Options hot choc (2)
Plus 2 syns for sugar in coffee, TOTAL: 28 :o

But did I mention I covered 8 miles today, AND I turned down an invite to a Chinese takeaway at my aunty's house so :A Also I feel I should be commended for my honesty. And I ran 8 miles.

Everything went pearshaped at lunchtime and ended up with crispbreads, quark flavoured with garlic.

Definitely not enough Speed foods today.

Wi today and gained the same half pound I lost last week :o

Been coughing a good un this week and fighting a cold, gave up the fight last night though :p. Hubby said I snored all night and he preferred the cough :rotfl:
Also got a good news (good because he will get the help he needs) text concerning my 1-1, I've grown quite close to him now I understand him a bit more. At least I haven't been hit, bit or kicked in quite a while! I'm going to miss him :(. Will still have him on a Friday though.

Still very stressed, hubby has health issues. Will know more when bloods come back. Son goes to rock concert next week and I'm bricking it . It's a real threat but what can I do? Secretly hoping it's cancelled :p.
Have my performance review on Monday, I know I have nothing to worry about but stressing anyway :o. They probably need me more than I need them :rotfl:
Been bitter here but not seen snow, apparently there was some just not in my road :rotfl:
Well done on the job Jill :T,
hugs to those in need and well done losers :A
    Have a good one peeps!
