Hi everyone
Today's food has/will be:
B - coco shreddies HEB with milk HEA (still using the 1% and really enjoying it)
L - chilli leftovers from last night's tea with some sort of veg - decided to bulk it out with some grated carrot last night as I only used 250g of mince and it makes it go a lot further I was really surprised (plus extra speed)
T - pizza from the fakeaway book using all my syns on this today - quite nervous as I've never made my own pizza dough before, just hope it ends up edible!
Had an interesting visit to the dentist on Wednesday. She thinks I'm either grinding my teeth in my sleep (which I don't think I am) or my teeth are corroding a bit from eating too much acidic/sugary fruit yikes! It must be the first time I've ever been told not too eat as much fruitI always snack on fruit during the day and never even gave a thought to how it might be affecting my teeth so I'll have to be careful in future!
Have a good day everyone0 -

I'm getting a new fridge freezer next week so need to use up as much as possible. Going to do an inventory now and see what I can use and what needs to be chucked (Aunt Bessie's dumplings, presumably!)
Have a good day all x
Glad to hear Lantanna is back it he zone and losing!
Those dumplings are a manageable 8 syns each. We have them as a family - 2 for everyone else and 1 for me. I could make them but the portion is sorted and then I can't be greedy or make my single dumpling bigger than it should be.0 -

SAD NEWS FOR MEMBERS WHO FOLLOW THE OLD PLANS.
SW have just put this on their site:
'Slimming World’s Extra Easy plan is the most generous, flexible and easy way to lose weight, helping hundreds of thousands of members reach their target and stay there.
The plan fits in with any lifestyle and dietary requirement, which is one of the reasons behind us focussing on this plan and saying goodbye to the Green and Original plans.
From the end of November 2015 we’ll be removing Green and Original Syn values from recipes and from the food diary and Syns Online. The great news is that the Extra Easy plan still has all your favourite Green and Original Free Foods included.'Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
Thanks Matron - when I checked, the use by date was 2011  so they'll probably get chucked! I made a list of everything in there, then managed to plan my meals for the full week, prioritising the most-SW-friendly items. I'll be having a lot of SW and Heck sausages, and peas, there are two big bags of peas! I was really pleased with how much stuff I could make meals from actually, and how much of it was free or very low syn - just need to add some fresh veg and I'm sortedWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

No, as far as I know all Hi-Fi bars can be used as a HEB: 2 Light or 1 normal one.
No fish or meat is free on Green as it's essentially a vegetarian plan. So you have to either use it as a HEB or syn it. Canned salmon is 9.5 syns for 100g or 80g for a HEB.
There's a PDF of the Green plan on line which you could print off, it looks like a copy of the old book. It's in useful features if you search for Green plan.
Cheers Maman. Your our SW genius!
CountingPennies - The HiFi Lights are a little confusing as you can have 1 as a speed HEB, or 2 as a regular HEB. So you'll see entries for both amounts in the online planner.
Yeah I think that is what maybe confused me. Shame they are taking the green plan offline now I'm trying to get my head around itHope your daughter is ok Counting Pennies.
Aww thanks for asking after her. She is much better today but kept her off school anyway. She has tidied her room so it must have been some bash to the head she took!! :rotfl:
DH has decided to decorate our dining room today as he has a quiet day at work. Lots of moving furniture going on while he paints. He has just gone to the chip shopI'm having a fish and chip butty. I won't eat the bun (never do) so its around half a bag of chips and 2 very small pieces of fish. I will be leaving the batter on
I have 50 syns left till Sunday night so need to work out how many syns to add. Any suggestions? So far today I have only eaten fruit and plan on being good for the rest of the day.

Just had a look on the website but can't see this anywhere.
Has anyone got a link to a list of HEBs on Green? Would be really useful to have. I currently use the Classic Food Diary to check them but if SW are going to remove them from the website that won't be an option.
I really feels like they couldn't care less about older members who like to do Red and Green days or vegetarians.

Shala~~very confusing~~2 separate programmes on 2 separate channels!!
Thanks Beanie, I thought i'd gone quite mad

:T so we are in week 3 of our current challenge which finishes the 26th Dec. If you let me know your target loss by that date i'll add you on to the chart, you will still have 4-5 weeks of the challenge left so plenty of time to join inThen each week you let me know what you've lost and i'll add it to the chart, which gets published on a Monday night for the previous weeks losses.
Hope that makes sense!!

Just watched the Doctor in the House
Anyone else watch it? What did you think?
LL
I thought he was the tallest man i'd ever seen
I really enjoyed it, it was quite informative, especially about the effects of diabetes. I wasn't aware of all the things that could go wrong in your body because of the build up of sugars, it scared me quite a bit :eek:CountingPennies wrote: »With regards to the pepsi max lovers (other brands are available :rotfl:) I have around 2 glasses a day. And thats it. Sometime I have 1 glass. But that is all I drink ALL day.
 don't you get a woolly feeling in your brain or headaches? I found when I started drinking a bit more water the dehydration headaches were more noticeable, before that i must have been in a constant fog and never known.
Glad your daughters ok..x
Meg - thanks for the heads up, sometimes wish we had a nice Asda closer to here
