 don't you get a woolly feeling in your brain or headaches? I found when I started drinking a bit more water the dehydration headaches were more noticeable, before that i must have been in a constant fog and never known.
Glad your daughters ok..x
I have started to suffer from menopausal migraines in the last 6 months, but apart from that no. I really need to drink more I know.Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »Hello all, I went out for my run earlier but it ended up being more of a hike/jog in a horizontal snow blizzard. Still, eight miles covered so not bad going.
But did I mention I covered 8 miles today
And I ran 8 miles.
Well done on your run! How many miles did you manage? :rotfl:
TIE I hope your husband gets his results soon and all is well.
Anyway.... was doing SOOO well, then blew it! Had the chips I mentioned yesterday..... Then last night had an unplanned last minute night out which involved me drinking 10 vodkas
Then today, because i'm a little tender, I went out for lunch and ate chicken wings, half a portion of chips, half a panini and THEN i had 4 slices of pizza!
I had 50 syns left before all that, so I have consumed more than that now, so I MUST be VERY good tomorrow and Monday and do some body magic before I get weighed on Monday night.

Thanks TIE.
CP wow that is spectacular- That's the problem with booze, it hits you twice. Only a big greasy burger can help me when I have a hangover.
Today's plan:
B - 2 satsumas and a Mullerlight, 2 coffees (2)
D - Pork chop, courgette, carrots, peas ... I want to have a Yorkshire pud but then I would need gravy ... Hmmm.
T - Soup (carrot and lentil)
Will add on any syns later, but aiming for a low day!
Must dash, off to a vintage fair - nothing I like better than a rummage through other people's old junkWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Morning all! Thanks again for all your well wishes about Gran, no updates yet, mum text me this morning with what she wanted for Xmas but no other news.
Haven't really got a plan today as I'm planning on doing a bit of Xmas shopping but I'm thinking:
B: seafood sticks, tin of mackerel.
L: bacon medallions, tin of tomatoes, mushroomsfried eggs and potato wedges?
S: 3 sesame ryvita's and 1 x35g pot Philadelphia light (HeA/B)
Milk in tea (rest of HeA), apple, satsuma, might make some jelly...
Anyone else having man trouble? Or lack thereof...
Met a guy at work the other night (having a lot of work done so contractors are in and out all of the time) got chatting as I was his contact on site, he was fairly flirty, not over the top, at the end of the night he asked me to sign his paperwork using my full name "so he could look me up on Facebook" so I did, and have him my number too!
He seemed pleased and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek, said he'd call me.
He text me when he left asking for a photo of the units he'd just built when the lights were on,kisses on the text, so I did.
Yesterday I pluck up the nerve to text him (I'm SO out of practice)just said "hey, how's your weekend going? You working? X"
Him: "I'm with my fiance."...

Didn't mention a girl all night, and 12 hours is a long night, why accept my phone number...?
I'm the unluckiest person ever with men, I never meet them and when I do, either I like them and they're not interested or they act interested and then something like that happens!! Admittedly, that's a first. But still. It's been about 6 years since my last serious boyfriend. Starting to think there's something wrong with me!

Not to worry wiz, it's hard but so worth it in the end.:)
I haven't managed to post for a couple of days but :Tto all losers that I've missed.
That's an amazing story about that bloke B17c. What a waste of space (or other far less polite words that mse wouldn't accept). I think lantanna and mildredd have had similar experiences with people of his ilk. It is linked to SW in a way because I think it's so important that we're doing this for ourselves, our own health, wellbeing and self confidence. OK so if it brings compliments that's a bonus but weightloss is worth it just for us.
I have stayed more or less on plan and within syn bank. I often worry when people don't post for a while whether they're off plan and hiding;). Not a good idea as the sooner you draw that line and get back to it the better.
I was out on Friday and had a yummy JP in Debenham's caf! in neighbouring city. Not somewhere I normally go. It was a tuna mayo but tasted like lots of tuna and little mayo (so not mushy) and had spring onions sliced into it. Plus some garnish on the side. Not sure if it's national but I was pleased to find something so tasty for a couple of syns.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion and beetrootroast beef, SW roast potatoes, carrot & swede mash, cauli, broccoli
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, gravy, wine syns
I've got the Ranking Irish Brown Soda bread this week as I really enjoy it. It's £1 in Sainsbury's, still expensive for a 400g loaf but cheaper than usual.0 -
Scratchy throat is back today, was threatening the other day but went away so thought I'd managed to avoid getting ill. Have also done something to my thigh - feels like I'd run into a wall. I am pretty clumsy so always a possibility, but I'd remember doing that! :rotfl:
Back on SP today...
Breakfast - Weetabix, speed fruits and coffee (HEB1+HEA)
Lunch - Chicken and salad (1 syn dressing)
Dinner - Gammon, eggs and veggies
Snack - Arla Protein (1 syn)
Will figure out something for my other HEB and syns. Probably pudding as usual!0 -

Afternoon
Had a walk round the market this morning and bought 2 enormous ruby grapefruit, then DH had fun comparing them to the bras on the underwear stalls, deciding they are at least an F cup.:rotfl:
I love them but he doesn't so I'll have to make sure they don't get wasted.
B17 - sorry to hear of your man trouble, he's obviously a player, his fianc! had better keep a close eye on him. There are good men about, so here's hoping you find one.
TIE - pleased to hear things have improved with the child, sometimes the bond is stronger when a child has complicated needs. Hope everything turns out ok for DH, and good luck with your review.
I'm still dosed up with painkillers for toothache, it isn't quite as bad as Friday thankfully. I'm having a green day today to avoid eating meat, so far I've had toast twice and I'm having egg, SW chips and beans for dinner.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Glad to hear that your DD is feeling better. DH and I love the Austrian hash but I did tweak the recipe. I didn't fancy caraway so I've been adding a pinch of cumin and also adding a small piece of chorizo (chopped) as it gives good colour and flavour. I'll look at the recipe on first page and see if there are any other differences. ETA: I can see that my tweaks are there. If I have any HEA going spare I put some grated cheese on top too.
Never mind, as you say all the more for you for lunch. I always enjoy my LOs. Yesterday I had a lovely, chunky 'soup' from LO casserole minus chicken with some extra veg. Planning a hash one day this week but not sure whether to go for ham or corned beef yet.0 -
