    Hi all,

Leg is a bit better today, but still quite tender. Really annoying as it's been so lovely out, would have quite fancied a long walk. I don't mind the temperature when it's clear like that.

Food today. Am having 2 HEAs in line with the book guidance on longer term SP use...

Breakfast - Weetabix with berries and a gingerbread latte (HEB1, HEA1, 1 syn)
Lunch - The leftover chicken and salad from yesterday (1 syn dressing)
Snack - HB egg, apple and cheese (HEA2)
Dinner - Chilli con carne served on spinach instead of rice
Pudding - Lemon drizzle cake (1/2 syn) with strawberries and quark. Hifi(s) (HEB2)

Lemon drizzle cake for 1/2 syn - recipe please?

Evening all, hope the weekend was good to you all :) Feeling really worn out at the minute, think it's the cold weather. Managing to stay on plan though, touch wood.

    Today's plan:
    B: bran flakes (HeB), strawberries
L: Asda g&b snack pot (1.5), apple, Clementine, plum
D: LO campfire stew - had this last night, was very tasty but left me awfully bloated - could be bad when it comes to weighing in the evening
S: alpen light (3), milk (heA), will probably have something this evening
  • Had a bit of a bad day today. Here it is in all honesty:

    B - Coffee x2 (HEXA + 2 syns)
    D - 1 slice burnt toast (1/2 HEXB), Flora light (1), 2x cod cakes (6), Squares crisps (5.5)
T - Pasta, SW meatballs in SW chunky tomato sauce with added onion, carrots and mushrooms. Swiss chocolate melting middle pudding (21.5), coffee (HEXA and 1)
    Later - Hot chocolate (2)
    TOTAL - 39.

Augh. Trying not to be too hard on myself. Once the new freezer is in place I'll do some batch cooking and PLAN better :D

Weighed in this evening with a gain of 1lb. Obviously a bit disappointing but trying not to be disheartened. I may be deluding myself but I don't think it's a genuine gain. For the second evening in a row after eating my HM campfire stew, I am really bloated - I'm like a balloon!! Don't know what it is that's causing it, but convinced that's why the scales have gone up this evening. Fingers crossed next week tells a better story...

It's actually the 8 syn lemon drizzle cake so should be a syn a slice, but I misread it and only added half the flour. Still lush, and saved some syns!
