Half off for me this week - I need do better!0
-
It's WI day for me this morning. Not feeling confident of a loss but think it's probably a STS as trousers are not tighter this morning!
DH has requested a very high syn dinner tonight (which I have to admit I've been trying to avoid since we got back from France in September!).
Another EE day today:
B - tasters at group this morning so no need to take anything (will try to stick to Free stuff rather than anything else - even if I have to eat my own veggie pakoras, LOL!)
L - LO chicken & veg curry/rice
D - confit de canard (duck in oil!) 16 syns (only one piece of duck!); new potatoes, mushrooms (loads!!!)
Will blot as much oil from the duck as possible before serving.
There definitely won't be any other syns today if I can avoid stuff at group this morning.
HEA - milk
HEB - nothing planned (offsetting the high syn duck?? if only!)
Back later after WI & shopping.

Hello :j
Could I join your lovely thread please? You all seem very friendly.
I've been lurking here for a few days having rejoined SW Online for about the 10th timebut this time I'm feeling really motivated and ready to see things through to a properly slimmer me. I'm about a stone and 2lbs lower than my highest weight this year, which is something, but I'd like to do a bit better - maybe make it 2 stones down by the end of the year. That means me getting to 15st 2lbs ( and when I weighed last week before restarting I was 15st 13lbs, so it ought to be doable).
I won't join any challenges just yet - for some reason that sort of thing has never worked out too well for me - but will just plod on for now. Actually, that sounds really negative and it shouldn't be - I'm really enjoying what I'm eating, it's just about planning, which I've managed to do really well this week and need to keep going!
Looking forward to making new friends and getting to know you all - congratulations to everyone here for sticking with it, whether you've lost a few pounds or many stones! :T0 -
b e g - 9st!! I'm aiming for around 7st loss, so it's really motivating to hear you've done that :j
Hi Lily E - I too find it's all about the planning. The minute I stop writing things down and planning my weeks meals in advance it all goes downhill. I've just ordered myself a nice meal and shopping list planner to encourage myself to keep it up.
I've got my first Muscle Foods order arriving shortly. Has anybody else used them? I just ordered one of their special price lean meat bundles to try. I'm spending so much money on chicken since I restarted that I figured they were worth a try!
Todays menu:
B- 2 x hifi, banana
L - LO chicken chow mein (0.5)
D - slow cooker beef stew, FF greek yogurt, frozen berries
S - Activia 0%, clementines, dairy milk (5), popcorn (2.5), Jelly (0.5)0 -
Welcome Lily E

Wow beg that's a huge achievement, definitely gives the rest of us some inspiration! I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
Had the normal porridge and oat milk for breakfast today. Will be having a jacket potato with beans (no butter) and a small side salad for lunch and I'm not sure about tea. I fancy maybe a chick pea, spinach and sweet potato curry. We use our own spices and coconut milk in it and seeing as I haven't had my full portion of milk today this should be fine. Brown rice obviously.
I am so hungry right now! I don't normally get hungry this early but for some reason today I'm getting a headache from lack of food!My debt free diary

Morning all just a quick catch up before we leave.
Being fed a JP with prawns now to make sure I have something to eat before we leave. Am refusing to have the huge mixed salad that normally accompanies this sort of meal - turning into a rebel :rotfl:
Welcome to our new people and well done to losers.
Behave yourselves and I will be here probably after the weekend - just in time for Monday weigh in

Afternoon all
Welcome to Lily and anyone else that's joined the thread recently.Glad to hear you've arrived safe and sound in Spain lois. What's the weather like?:)
It's lovely and sunny at the moment, but there had been quite a lot of rain in the couple of weeks before we arrived and you can tell by the general state of the area!LL - how does it feel being back in Spain - bet you can't wait to get to those lovely salads.
It's great - did our first shop and stocked up on salad, onions, peppers and fruit to start us off in the right direction.Half off for me this week - I need do better!
Don't be hard on yourself, half a pound is better than none and a step in the right direction.
Beg - I've probably missed you now, but condolences re your Aunt, and well done for the 9st shiny, that's amazing. :T
Well, so far so good, I've only had fruit for breakfast for a couple of days and yesterday's HEB was used for a WM tortilla and today I've had a WM thin with ham and salad for lunch. DH and I are off to a fireworks party on the beach tonight, and we'll be having JPs with chilli so hopefully not too many syns. I'm going to continue only drinking at the weekends so I'll be on the tonica light tonight, which means I'll have enough syns to cover as I don't suppose the chilli will be made with lean mince.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.
