    Looking for some advice.

I'm not working Friday, so thinking about meal planning so I can shop while the stores are quieter.

Autumn is solidly here, and I've been craving bacon hotpot.

Trouble is, to stick to my nan's recipe, it only includes sliced white potatoes, (lean) bacon, and sliced onion (plus stock).

I don't want to have it with a side. It's filling, so I won't want pudding.

    WWYD to get your 1/3?

It's wi tomorrow, so part of me thinks I should just enjoy it.

I'm planning on making a bacon, squash and sweet potato stew from the SW site tomorrow. Speed food ingredients are onion, butternut squash, garlic, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, green beans. I know it's a different dish, but you could maybe take some inspiration from it? (caveat - I haven't made it yet so don't know how it tastes!). You're other option I suppose is upping the amount of onion in there?

Make sure you get your 1/3 Speed foods across the whole day rather than worrying about it in this one meal. Maybe have SP meals for your other 2 meals - ie 50% Speed 50% protein.

CP - unfortunately you can't carry over HEs. Be good if you could! The the only way you can extra an extra HEA and HEB is to do Green or Red days

Thanks for answering JD, shame as I struggle to have my A. Would have saved it for a cheesy meal :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your aunt BEG :( But well done on your 1/2lb and your shiny!! :T

Been out all day today (trying alternative thearpy to prescribed drugs). Had to do a return journey of 280 miles but was worth it I think. Also spend a couple of hours on my feet shopping ;) Lots of body magic as the bags were heavy :rotfl: Made my lunch to take with me, and i've just ordered a chinese (DH fancied one, I didn't take much persuading) but will syn it. Ate lots of fruit while I was out and about.

    Back on plan 100% tomorrow!

LL - how does it feel being back in Spain - bet you can't wait to get to those lovely salads.

beg so sorry to hear about your aunt. Congrats on the SOTW and way to go on the 9st shiney yeh.:T:T:T

Shala thanks for the new thread and for the chart as always. 1.5lbs off for me last night. Completely amazed as I thought I had gained. So happy that was a loss at the end of the old challenge and a loss for the start of the new one (now just to keep losing the rest of the challenge:o).

Anyway off to bedski so catch you all again tomorrow.

I do hope the funeral goes as well as these things can. You'll have enough to do without worrying about SW time enough to get back on plan when you get back.:A.

and either STS or put on half a pound then have a loss.

I think it's quite usual for some people including me. Draw a line on the fish and chips and get back on it tomorrow. Hopefully next week you'll see a loss:).

I make that 3 HEBs wiz, perhaps you could syn one of them.

Newshadow, like denise says it'll still work if you spread your one third Speed across the day. I almost never have Speed with my breakfast but make up for it in other meals. Technically your recipe could be a third of onions if you made it that way.

Glad to hear you've arrived safe and sound in Spain lois. What's the weather like?:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk fr drinks
L: JP with beetroot, tomato and cottage cheese
D: Chicken Casserole (celery, onions, leeks, mushrooms, carrots and butter beans) with new potatoes and runner beans.
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, tbsp. (shared) od cornflour, 3? syns of 70% chocolate
