  • My goodness what a catch up with you all that was - phew. We've even moved home  thanks shala you are a star :T and thanks so much for our chart.

I see we have lots of new people - welcome to you all

Well done to all the losers too :T.

Sorry I have been missing since Monday afternoon - when I got home from SW class on Monday evening I got call to say my Aunt in Ireland had died suddenly which was a bit of a shock. So I have been busy trying to arrange flights and hotel and we are off there tomorrow. My Mum is insisting on coming too - understandable in a way as its her 88 yr old twin sister that's died. So next Mondays weigh in will make for interesting reading methinks especially as we are away on Sunday where non-SW food will be plentiful and alcohol will be flowing

Anyway on a much brighter note ...

I am reporting a massive 0.5lb loss this week shala. Didn't twist my face too much when 'it's only a piddly little half pound' as that -0.5lb meant that I was awarded my big fat 9st shiney :j:j:j

I will just have to imagine squeezing that extra 9st into the Easyjet seat tomorrow :eek::eek:. Wonder if I still need the extention strap on the seatbelt :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Will probably not get back online properly till after the weekend - might read but not post.

Be good everyone while I'm away - I might still be spying on you all :rotfl:

  • b_e_g Sorry about your aunt. Hope the travelling and everything else goes as well as it can. Huge congratulations on the next sticker though that's such a great achievement. Well done.
Gives me hope I'll get there one day. Maybe via the more scenic route!

Thanks Mavvers - I'm sure you will get there one day. It was quite a daunting thought for me nineteen months ago but bit by bit or I should have said stone by stone I am slowly getting there. Keep posting here and I am sure you will get loads of support to help you.

DH made Chicken Tikka for tea tonight and served it with vegetable rice. Used the Iceland SW Tikka Sauce and it was quite pleasant. Fruit salad followed ;)

Yes I am just taking baby steps at the moment.
As I rejoined after my holibobs it is first new shiny then after that down into the next stone~~NEVER EVER to go back into the one above again.

    Looking for some advice.

I'm not working Friday, so thinking about meal planning so I can shop while the stores are quieter.

Autumn is solidly here, and I've been craving bacon hotpot.

Trouble is, to stick to my nan's recipe, it only includes sliced white potatoes, (lean) bacon, and sliced onion (plus stock).

I don't want to have it with a side. It's filling, so I won't want pudding.

    WWYD to get your 1/3?

It's wi tomorrow, so part of me thinks I should just enjoy it.
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

I have been so good and felt slimmer then went to weigh in and put on half a pound!!!!!

So cheesed off I had fish and chips that I took home and sulked!

I did take off most of the batter and will get back on plan tomorrow.

I looked at the record and I do not seem to lose weight every week
and either STS or put on half a pound then have a loss.
