BEG - well done on sticking to plan.. :T I hope it gives you a good result next week! How's your mom?

Weighed in this morning, 0.5 down from last weigh-in a while back... heading back in the right direction, must keep it up!

Was convinced I would have crumbled by now shala and given in to some synful naughtiness ;) but so far so good. :D. So far all the medics are pleased with the progress Mum is making which is good. The nurses at the hospital couldn't be any nicer to Mum if she were one of their own.

Full of admiration for you b-e-g, you're being so sensible eating SW while doing the hospital visiting. They're revamping all the 'shopping mall' area of our local hospital at the moment so it'll be interesting to see if anything healthy on the sale when they've finished.

I'm well impressed on the food that is available maman. I think the whole hospital is something that the people in the North East should be so proud of. Fingers crossed there are plenty of healthy options available once your revamp is complete.

Hi all, I lost 2lbs last week but weirdly I don't feel into it at all and haven't had a good week so far. I'm having menopause symptoms and feel absolutely carp!

Sorry to be a moaner. Thanks as always for being here!

Awww no need to be sorry love, come and have a moan whenever you want, the menopause is crap but it will pass love, as do most difficult stages of life. OH the joys of being a woman :rotfl:

I put on half a pound last week and sulked for days. I even had fish and chips in a gesture of rebellion ( I did remove the batter and threw out half the chips)

This week I lost two pounds and had my one stone lost sticker. :j:j:j

DD has a new job so suggested she has a couple of hard boiled eggs, peppers, veg and no syn sausages in a box while she drives to appointments.

When she is in a hotel overnight I suggested a very small microwave so she can heat up a slimming ready meal or a baked potato and beans etc. I ordered one for a Christmas present for her and if it is not suitable then I will use it and buy her something else.

Looking back on the records I don't lose every week - I either stay the same or put on a half pound then lose the following week.

When I feel slimmer I either stay the same or gain half a pound
and when I think I have stayed the same - it turns out I have a loss!!

:T on your loss and your shiny elona. That's great! Sounds like some excellent ideas you've given your DD, hope the microwave works out. It'll be very mse as well as SW friendly for her. Keep us posted.

I've never lost regularly every week either. I doesn't really matter in the scheme of things but I did envy those who did and it's frustrating when you know you've been good.

So pleased you're mum is responding well b-e-g. I'm hoping that I won't need the hospital facilities but when I've needed the odd early morning blood test I've been really disappointed with what's been on offer. Generally I've managed with a coffee.

So glad your plan worked missindependent. Now you've done it once you can do it again.

I checked my pack of smoked cod (or maybe haddock) and it was 250g shared between the two of us. So well within a HEB which meant the cheese sauce wasn't as bad as I thought as I had an extra HEA. If I hadn't had porage for breakfast it would have been even better but as DH chooses our breakfasts (and cooks them;)) I'm not complaining.

Good for you, Mildreddd and jps.

About those big tins of sweeties – When the tin is full I can happily ignore them or just have one. However, when it gets closer to empty, I can quite easily hoover them up! I’ve never worked out whether I’m worried I’ll miss out if I don’t have one/two/ten, or whether I just want to get the empty tin out of the way! I’m just the same with a box of chocs or a multipack bag of fun size maltesers.

I think I’ll have a go at that trifle too, meg, thanks for posting, although I’d probably still do my own full fat version for special occasions.

    I love cheese sauce, maman.

I don’t buy Pringles because I’m sure there is a LAW that you have to eat the whole lot at once, mini or standard, whatever you’ve got, and I am a law abiding citizen.

Glad you’re getting good news about your mum, b_e_g.

Those are good suggestions for your DD, elona.

    Today I had

Breakfast: hexb bran flakes, 100ml hexa milk (yes, I measured it, out of curiosity), a banana and an apple
Lunch: chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, syboes, green pepper, cucumber, an orange
Snack: WW coconut slice (4 syns)
Dinner: bacon, egg, SW chips, beetroot, ski strawberry mousse (4 ½ syns)
Snack: 2 ginger nuts (4 syns) and rest of hexa 1 mini babybel light

    Good luck for tomorrow.
