Lantanna - coffee is back in roses

:eek::eek::eek: Danger danger! I'll pretend you didn't tell me that! The mothership normally gets them in on xmas day so I'll bagsy the coffee ones if the bro in law doesn't get to them first!
Subways confuse me, some have sweetcorn and coleslaw and some don't. Not that I've ever had the coleslaw. Turkey, ham and beef slices are all free too.0 -
Like the look of those Chicken Steaks Meg, never seen them before though!0

Meg - thanks for the syn values for the chocs and pringles. How many for the pringles:eek: They are definitely my downfall - not so bothered about the chocs!
Back to a Green day today:
B - porridge; mullerlight vanilla; mixed frozen fruit
L - HM vegetable soup
D - egg, chips, beans & mushrooms (DH is having sausage as well)
S - 3 Lidl Sesame crackers, butter, cheese
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB1 - porridge
HEB2 - crackers
Syns - butter (4)
Have definitely managed to rein it in this week and think I may even be a few syns under - need to have a count up I think!

I was offered Quality Street 3 times yesterday and turned them down 3 times
Very glad I did.
Its that time of year when chocs will start to be everywhere and its too easy to eat a couple of those things and deplete your daily syns without realising or even taking the time to enjoy them and then you sort of write them off and it becomes a vicious cycle.
The Sweet Onion Sauce in Subway and the Light Mayo are low in Syns and you can always ask them to only put on a little if you do fancy some sort of dressing.Honey mustard and sweet onion dressing is 1.5 Syns in subway.... U can ask to try the sauce before they put it on xxxx chicken are all free .... The salad bowls are free (except olives obvs)
Morning lovely people. Just to let you know I am still managing to Keep the Faith. Subway salads are a godsend for me just now. Subway is available in the hospital. Yesterday I had chicken tikka salad box with honey and mustard dressing and no cheese so it was only 1.5 syns for the dressing. The size of the portion of dressing concerns me a little but not that much at this time. Might be a devil and try the ranch dressing (2 syns next time). Having a SW style brekkie shortly before we go out (bacon, eggs, toms mushrooms and beans). Taking a wholemeal bun with some Primula spread on (part of hexa) ham, salad and egg together with a box of veggie sticks and cherry toms to pick on. When we get back later tonight the Hairy Bikers will be appearing ;)with veggies and some potatoes (prepping everything just to ping it when we get in). Trying to stay on plan and I can feel quite virtuous sitting eating my salad while hubby is tucking into his baguette :rotfl: Put a pack of Alpen lights in this morning in case I need something whilst DH is tucking into a scone.
Meg you are a star posting the choccie syns. Boxes of choccies keep appearing in Mams locker and she isnt eating them. Not a fan of Roses but most other ones will not be safe.
Will pop back whenever I get a chance.

Haven't had a Pringle since way before my Pre Slimming World days! I do like them but not enuf to waste 50 syns on them. Theres much nicer less fattening crisps about I think.
I do recall on the week of m 21st birthday I got a box as I had lost some weight and had that " its my birthday mentality " going on and sat in the cinema and ate an entire tube of Salt n Vinegar to myself  Someone once told me there is 70 g of fat in a tube and I think that's what has put me off them all these years.
Its hard at the minute as I notice all the shops are putting things like Pringles on offer.0
