:Tmidge, that's a great loss and gives you some leeway for Christmas foods.

What a time to rid the house of syns meg. Are you away for Christmas?;)

I must have timed my shopping perfectly this morning. Aldi and Sainsbury's were quiet, just walked up to a checkout in both. Waitrose was a bit more manic, they had people managing the queues with boxes of Quality Street which (polishes halo) I declined of course! :D

So no more shopping left to do, just my list of little jobs. I might get on and make the dauphinoise for tomorrow when I'm prepping this evening's veg. Hasselbacks sound a lot more healthy but I've promised myself the cheesey treat:drool:.

Saw this recipe on tv last week which looked good

I'd add chilli, Bolognese sauce and savoury mince to the list for batch cooking lantanna.:)

We are having Cauli Cheese on Xmas day Maman, its the only day in the year I'm allowed it lol

Good idea with the Bolognese Sauce! Its always handy to have.

Going to make Chicken Tikka, Beef Stew and BNS & Sweet Potato soup this afternoon.

I'll be slurping on a wee glass of wine whilst cooking.

Don't talk to me about shops, I have to call at M&S, Tesco and Asda on the way home :(:rotfl::rotfl:

I braved Sainsbobs and a typical Saturday is way more manic than it was today. About normal level of crowding, only real difference is that most people had trolleys. Sailed straight through the baskets only checkout. :D

    Evening :)

    I'm ready for Christmas! 😄

Great post Lantanna - very inspiring. Hope you have a lovely break from work and do all the things you want to do.

Merry Christmas to everyone on the thread, hope you've got everything you need for the big day and that it all goes to plan, and if you don't stick to the plan enjoy the treats you choose without guilt. There's always next year for all of us to make a new start.

Tomorrow will be spent catching up on housework - washing, ironing and a pre-Christmas dust, polish and vacuum. DH and I are going to a Christmas Eve party tomorrow night and I haven't decided what to wear for that or for Christmas Day when we're going to the beach restaurant for lunch. At least I'll be getting some exercise, walking there and back as its 1km each way.

Just watching Mamma Mia - nothing like a cheesy film at Christmas. :rotfl:

  • Hello All

Sorry for not posting for a while my granddad has been ill and then passed away and the funeral as been today so to be honest food hasn't been on the mind at all.

I have still be weighing in only missed one week and I've managed to be the same weight as I was at the beginning of the month before all this started. I have put on but managed the lose it so unfortunately my Christmas wish I was just short but I can get over this after the events over the last few weeks. I am going to try and be half on and half off over the next week so hopefully the damage isn't too bad i'm a person who can put it on quickly but it comes off just a quickly too so hopefully by January I will be back to losing way.

I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and happy new year
