Hiya everyone, yippee 2 off and I'm there at last, however, I need to get 3 below to give me some leeway. I can't understand though I still have some fat left i e. Tummy not gone thighs not much thinner. I may have to go down to eight stone four pounds that was my normal weight in the seventies when I was quite a bit younger maybe that will make all the difference. Ah! Well, I am still quite happy. Hope everyone else has done well Hugs to you all X.
Sooooooooo pleased for you WizSlimming World at target0 -
Abba I've seen on Instagram that quite a few new groups are starting on Boxing Day. I think they're crazy! Hard enough to get an established group to turn up. My consultant was willing to open if we wanted but everyone said not to bother.
I know what you mean. The group will be back to normal on Sat 2nd Jan, I imagine there will a few new members. My consultant also does a Thursday evening group, which I can attend instead of the Saturday, but this week as it's Christmas eve, she's doing it between 3 & 5pm. I will be at work on Thursday, till normal time of 5 I presume, unless they let us go early, but I can't guarantee it. It's better to leave it till the 2nd.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090 -
I'll pass on telling you what I ate over the weekend! Suffice to say on Saturday night I was in bed feeling ill and disgusted with myself!
I don't like either Mince Pies or Stollen!
Trying to be well behaved until Thursday now, although I finish work on weds and feel like some sort of treat on weds night.
Who knows!0 -
Afternoon all
Reporting in with a loss of 1lb for the chart please Shala. That's last week's gain gone which I'm pleased about. Really would like to get things moving though, I feel like I'm stuck at this weight. I quite like the sound of the 777 challenge - I'll have no problem with the speed foods, I have at least 7 most days, but the water will be a challenge, I'd rather have a cup of tea! 😏
Well done Wizkid :T :j Are you sure it's fat that you're left with and not loose skin? When I got to target I wanted to keep going until I'd lost more abdominal fat, thinking that the area where my hip bones are would return to being flat as it was before having babies, but it was skin not fat. You've done really well to get this far and sometimes a small amount of fat is a good thing specially as you get older.
Good luck for all this week's weigh-ins, have a good week everyone.

Today...
Breakfast - Arla, raspberries and 20g all-bran (1/2 HEB1 + 1 syn)
Lunch - SP tuna fishcakes and tenderstem. I used an infusions tuna which should be 3.5 syns but I drained off the oil and DH stole some tuna, so only going to log 2 syns for any that soaked in.
Dinner - Either salmon or chicken curry, haven't decided. Most likely curry though. It's one of the Iceland meals to try.
Need to have HEA, think I'm going to have a big mug of either coffee or hot chocolate, the weather is frightful! Rest of HEB will be hifis for pudding, as usual.0 -
:T so pleased you had a loss lois. I think anything is welcome at this time of the year but I think we're wise to stick to plan/make good choices as much as possible in between.Need to have HEA, think I'm going to have a big mug of either coffee or hot chocolate, the weather is frightful! Rest of HEB will be hifis for pudding, as usual.
The weather is grim here too. Blowing a gale and tipping down but due to die down later so I'll delay going out until then.
We're out for a drink/food with friends later. It's in a bar so probably pub food so probably off plan. Hope they have something worth using syns on. I'm sure they'll have a NZ sauvignon.;)
Added to syn mountain last night by starting a bar of chocolate marzipan.:o It's strange that while I don't crave sweets or chocolate I do like marzipan.
Today I've had SW breakfast (HEX porage) and just about to have something for lunch (JP with cottage cheese?) then that's probably the limit to today's saintliness.:D0 -
Hey guys.... Sorry for being MIA. Had my 4 nights out as planned and now I'm knackered!
Food wise, I've done really well and stuck to plan. My appetite has disapeared. I'm having to force myself to eat. Altho I feel hungry, there is nothing I can stomach to eat. Not sure if its a side effect of the alcohol or I'm just getting run down with working followed by nights out.
Anyway, off to get weighed tonight so I'll be back to let you all know the damage.
Hope everyone is well!

Well done Wiz! Brilliant! Congrats to all with losses and hugs to those struggling. I had a STS today which is a fairly good result really. Losing the odd battle, but I will definitely win the war... one day!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Evening all
Congrats to everyone still managing to lose at this time of year! I'm reporting in with a 1lb gain this week. Not delighted about this but not a huge surprise either, given that the past week has included a Chinese takeaway and a rather large meal at an Indian restaurant. I had a bigger than expected loss last week so it sort of balances out. It mifht just be a cooncidence but looking back, it seems like I have a pattern of losing for 3 weeks then gaining for a week. Just crossing my fingers that this next week isn't too damaging. Think it will all come down to how much I manage to influence meals!
